Loved it. Although we did have a problem with my friends diet allergy, coeliac disease. Got the rep to sort in Greek with the kitchen, but we had to struggled from Friday to Monday. Staff were great when they understood and ordered special bread and helped at dinner time.Bar and pool facilities were good and we had an evening of excellent live music. Great hotel, although on a hill, a little way out of town but quiet, apart from a little road noise. Our late arrival food was poor, stale sandwiches. A Greek salad would have been better.

Room tip: Our room was 102 which was the original part of this hotel which has extended up the hill. Near facilities but no sea view. Higher numbers would be newer but a further climb.

The hotel is lovely, clean, big rooms, two very nice pools with plenty of sun loungers, and the food is wonderful.
We spent a week here and really enjoyed our stay, we booked half board but upgraded very quickly to all inclusive and it was well worth it.
The staff are lovely and the evening bar staff are brilliant, the young lad who waits the tables is soo friendly and always quick but ready for a chat. Mickal the evening bar man is funny friendly and he gets to know you.
My daughter loved it her ( She is 11) and we would definately consider returning.
However there are a few negatives. The resort is on a very steep hill and from the second you go through the gate you are climbing up a hill. We were given the top floor three blocks back and it got harder as the week went on to get up there.
It also states it about 600m from the beach. This may be the case as the crow flys, however you have to walk down a main road, go under a tiny narrow underpass in the road then walk through another complex to get to the strip at the bottom of the hill. Having said that it is a nice walk and providing you dont mind walking it takes about 10-15 mins to walk all the way down ( longer going up the hill on the way back lol )
As long as you don't mind walking a bit, I would highly recommend here, also be aware if you wish to book any excursions in the town, the coaches do not pick up from Koni, you do have to go to another hotel on the strip.
However to get away from the hustle of it all this hotel is ideal and if you stay here aware of the hill and location, you will love the place.

Room tip: Most views from the room are of the complex, however sea view rooms do exsist but you will get a top floor room at the top of the hill.

I've just returned from a 2 week stay. Ok, so first the negatives, the complex is hilly & very steep! Be ware if you have mobility or fitness problems. I booked for me & my mum who has angina & she struggled. I checked the pictures & it doesn't look 1/2 as steep as it is in reality (I used my Fitbit & even walking up the main "hill" to the reception it thought I was using stairs, hope this gives you an idea). The wifi is free , but the Internet connection is unreliable. To be honest they are the only down sides to this place.

Reception, on arrival Alex was lovely & gave us a room not too far from the reception on the 3rd floor. (There are no lifts) this was around the corner & 3 flights was around 25 steps to go up in total. The view we had was fab! A whole view of Stalis & the sea & lovely balcony (room 209)

The apartments, we had a 2 person apartment twin beds, a small kitchenette & a bathroom with shower. Kettle, 2 electric cooking rings & fridge, pans plates cups etc. We spoke to other guests, some had the mini, seated baths (I call hobbit bath) these were ground floor rooms, no view to speak of but still had outside space.

The rooms were cleaned properly & fully daily, bedding was changed twice a week & new towels around 3 times a week, however if you asked for anything it was no trouble. Our cleaner Jenny from Albania was superb! A credit to the place, worked very hard & got us extra pillows & clean towels on request. A truly lovely lady. The beds are ok, nothing spectacular, but comfortable enough after a couple of glasses of wine.

Restaurant, we stayed 1/2 board, breakfast buffet style 7:30-10. Good selection of European breakfast foods. Hot & cold meats, eggs, scrambled, fried & boiled, cereal & fruit. Coffee, tea & juice is included. I didn't try the lunch buffet. Dinner, buffet, we stayed 2 weeks & the selection was different every day, never repeated! Which is a first for me & a nice surprise. Meat, fish & vegetarian options on each night, & deserts inc baclava, cakes, fruit & ice creams. Drinks aren't inc in the evening, but a glass of wine is €2 or a 1/2L bottle of water €1. Restaurant staff are brilliant, they will seat you or find you a table, my favourite people were the manager (I forget his name ) Rula is fantastic & Ovi is lovely too. I ate well every day, please don't expect English food, it is strongly Greek / European menu. Nothing spicy at all, but you can buy chilli salt in Stalis if you like a bit of spice.

Bar & entertainment, the drinks are reasonably priced, they have waiter service, so you can take a seat & the waiter will come & take your order. If you wish you can upgrade to all inclusive for €13 per day. I would all it full board plus as it includes only selected drinks, (local beers & wine) but very reasonable price if these are your tipples of choice. The bar says it closes at 11pm, but actually goes on till about 2am. I only had 1 night where I got angry, mostly I could barely hear anything, but 1 night it seems that other guests wanted to play loud thrash music till almost 2 am, I was about to complain when it stopped. They had a live band on & also pu on a Greek night, which were very good, however unless you stay 14 night you won't see both.

Pools, there are 2, a smaller pool at the front of the hotel & larger one next to the restaurant. Yes there are a lot of people who "reserve" beds early morning by placing their towels on beds, this can be frustrating when they then don't use the beds till 2pm! I used the small pool & never bothered with the larger pool. Be ware the dip is steep but a good little pool.

The complex is a 5-10 minute average pace walk to the main shopping St. Use the under passes. Say15+ minutes walk if you walk slow, you can get a taxi back to the complex for around €7-10.
Malia is a 10 min bus journey or again €7 in a taxi, & Herssinissos is about 30 minutes away.

Overall this is a great place & Stalis is nice, I'd happily go back to Koni Village & Stalis again.

Room tip: Room 209 or lower fro those with mobility / health problems.
