we have been here for lunch...wanted something light not too much and i guess it was the owner of restaurant asking us if we would like a Greek Salad as Starter follwed by two " small fish". We agreed because was exactly that what we are looking for. We ordered a bottle of
white wine and felt really well at that place...Greek salad was fresh and the follwing fish aswell and very tastful. Everything seems to be fine till we saw the bill.... 94 EUROS for a lunch in a
simple Greek Tavern impossible!!!
My mistake was not to ask for the price for the fish, but on the other hand the waiter has to tell me that i will cost much more as you usually pay for lunch in a tavern like this...has been a nice
ripp off....never ever again!

Maybe we will be considered legally incompetent when we assess this restaurant.
Why - yes, we come here every year when we are on vacation in our little house in Paleochora (PAL) which we rent.We started in PAL in 2006 and come here every year, so the family has become our good friends.
OK, it's a seafood restaurant, but there are many other good opportunities to taste the Greek cuisine capability.
We live in our little house, but eats at Caravella every day and can recommend other tourists to pay the restaurant a visit.
And the wine is not expensive, order as us "Greeks" the daily wine jug.
We look forward to a reunion in 2013.
A salute to Barbara, Giannis, Markela, Giorgos and the rest of the family.

We were looking forward to our meal here, as it always looked busy when passing.
We selected our fish and agreed a price, we were told the fish would be served with potatoes and salad. We also ordered a starter.
The starter was forgotten and yes the fish which was nicely cooked was served with salad and potatoes, however when we got the bill the fish was 3 euros more than agreed and we had also been charged extra for salad and potatoes, also a 10 euro cover charge for the raki & desert was applied, therefore a meal for two with wine, no starters and a small caramalised orange desert and raki was 60 euros, which compared to other restaurants did not represent good value, altough we did enjoy the fish.
