We spent a day with a private guide then came back to the museum. This museum and the theatre gave my wife, daughter and myself a opportunity to get a glimpse of men, supplies and planning that happened here on that day. Personally gave me much more understanding of the sacrifices and commitments our young men gave.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

This was part of our Normandy itinerary and well worth a visit for both some of the history and the human stories. As with the whole area, poignant and striking, especially the film footage.

“Excellent museum! Don't miss it!”

A fine collection of history, memorabilia, weapons and maps to put the D Day story in some perspective. Great movie explaining not only the invasion but 100+ days of battles that followed.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

We arrived at Utah beach during the afternoon in beautiful weather. The monuments outside told their story of the war. The museum was interesting, but for me personally, it didn't hit the top mark. Yes, it is a nice museum, and there is a lot to see. But some of the excibits could have been upgraded a little bit. Otherwise, it was historically a very good visit.

“A must see, and thought provoking”

Very interesting and thought provoking. good range of exhibits. I spent over 2 hours here, and was impressed.

It is very much up there as being one of the top museums in the area.
