I was very pleased at the hospitality we received at this hotel. The rooms are nice but the service was excellent. It is a golf resort but in early March it was empty which made it nicer. Great deal for the money, perhaps because it was off-season. The restaurant was excellent as well. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. The nearby town of Bayeux was a 5 min drive and fun to stroll around in, and the private D Day tour which the receptionist arranged was spectacular and I was able to mark an item off my bucket list.
If you look at the pic I posted, what a dichotomy, to have a beautiful and tranquil golf course looking out over one of the bloodiest and violent beaches in history, Omaha Beach.More
