Strengths: very close to the beach (the hotel has its own private part, with free deckchairs and parasols), cleanliness of the hotel in general (except for the jacuzzi, beurk), free parking, air conditioning
Weaknesses: size of the bathrooms (especially the shower cabin, ridiculous), old-fashioned, rooms needs to be refreshed and repairs have to be done in some areas (see photos), no possibility to shop in the area (only one restaurant 200m away, otherwise you need to go to Moriani-plage which is 4.5km away - you need a car, no public transports), free wi-fi when you can get it (ground floor ok, rooms not ok).
It was our second stay there (first time in 2011, same period). The first time, we were pretty impressed by the beach and the fact it takes you 30 seconds from your room to lay into your chair or to be into the water. Maybe we were blinded by this big advantage... This year, although the beach is still very beautiful and it's obviously convenient to be so close to it, we had one big problem: our room stank (not only a little smell, it literally stank - coming from the bathroom, probably toilets and siphons). We told the staff about it the first morning. They said they would check. When we came back from the beach, windows were opened and air-conditioning was at his maximum, so obviously we didn't smell anything special and we thought it was ok. The next morning, we woke up in an incredible stench ! We went back to the reception to complain, and the manageress said they had done everything the day before to resolve the problem and that they didn't undestand from where it was coming from. So they propose to change our room. We had to pack up everything and move to another room on the opposite side of the hotel (without help and excuses). From the balcony of our new room, we had a view on our "ex-balcony". We were quite surprised to see another couple a few hours later. It gave the impression the hotel had been aware of the problem for a long time, but hasn't been willing to do anything, and treat their clients as pigeons, hoping they will accept and not complain. At the end of our stay, we received no excuses or compensations for the inconvenience (we could have asked though). To sum up, go to this hotel if you don't care of the quality of your room when you're on holidays (even for a high price) and if you're interested in the beach only. The less you complain, the better you will be treated...
