If you want a clean and basic hotel - then this is for you. The bathroom is a plastic pod - a bit like a cabin on a ferry. There are two restaurants near the hotel which are reasonable. The car park is filled with white vans and so I guess it is a stop for delivery drivers. They come late and leave early. Breakfast was OK.
Don't expect any frills because there aren't any. It is a stop off point for the mad dash south!

Good value for money for family of 4 with kids. The room was shockingly small but it was really fun for the kids who loved the single bunk bed suspended above the double bed! Beware as you may get a consussion once you've banged your head one too many times! We based ourselves here for 4 nights. We cannot fault the hotel as the overall price, cleanliness (Daily bed linen & towel change as well as daily room cleaning and beds made) was beyond our expectation for what we had paid for. Breakfast was 4 Euros per adult, kids ate free. Basic selection of breads, spreads, cereals with yogurt, fruit compote, hot and cold drinks. It's eat as much as you want, you really can't compete with this particularly with current prices in France!
Having a car for the hotels location is a must, having said that it is in an excellent position as a base for exploring tourist attractions around the region. We love to drive so thought nothing of going for 1-2 hour long drives to explore the area. There are plenty of Chateaus to see but we thoroughly enjoyed Chateaus Azay les Feron, excellent value for money! We enjoyed the grounds and the tour, but be warned, our kids were tired by the time the tour started so behaved themselves. The tour can get boring to kids and if you don't enjoy the French nuance of explaining everything (much as we enjoyed it, a few did leave the tour less than halfway)!!!! Our highlight was visiting 'La Vallee des Singes' (kids called it monkey world!), just under an hour from the hotel. Excellent day out, good value for money. It was educational and fun, mind the Bobonos show particularly if your children are inquisitive (this group is very sexualised-read about it on google!! funny to watch but we had to answer some intriguing questions from the kids after!). Plenty of choices for food around the area to eat, best value Flunch at Auchan is always a good bet if you can get there for 7pm. There is a wonderful pizza and pasta restaurant (near Mcdonalds x3 gourmet pizza for 18 Euros) and a lovely Japanese restaurant across the roundabout. The hotel is near all the local supermarkets but to be honest you really would not need to go as the rooms do not have a fridge. It would have been a good idea to have the 'restaurant' at the hotel opened in the evening for hot drinks. Most McDonalds have a play area, the one in centre ville was indoor so when it rained, the kids still had a place to use up their excessive energy, same could be said for Flucnch! All in all no complaints. The staff were excellent, polite and helpfull throughout our 4 nights and the standard of the room for what we paid for it was exceptional. However, beware that this standard is not the same for other premier classe hotels.

Room Tip: First and second floor rooms are better as ground floor rooms are allocated to those with pets.

The rooms are small, with a caravan style 'bathroom.' They are cheap (50 euro) and really meant for a quick stop over. Some rooms are a little smelly, and the walls are thin so noise can be an issue. The hotel is a bit out of town so you need a car. Overall it is functional and does the job for a cheap stop over, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than a day.

This was our first experience of a Premiere Classe motel because we were looking for a convenient overnight stop without having to pay the exhorbitant rates of a Campanile or Ibis. This is a very basic motel. You don't get much for 42 euros! The rooms are very small for 2 people. You can't both move at the same time. On the plus side, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, reception was friendly, and it was located close to a motorway junction but far enough away not to be noisy.
