Raippaluoto Bridge (also known as Replot Bridge or in Finnish Raippaluodon silta and in Swedish Replot bron) is situated only 18 kilometers from the city center of Vaasa. It is the longest bridge in Finland (1045 meters). The highest point of the bridge is 82.5 meters above sea level. The bridge was built in 1995-1997.
There isn't very much to see there. The bridge is long and quite beautiful and the view is marvelous. However, it is just a bridge.
There is a nice cafeteria-restaurant named Berny's next to the bridge. It is the best place to park you car, take photos of the bridge and relax with a cup of coffee on the summer terrace.
The bridge is located between the continent and Raippaluoto Island (Replot Island). If you drive here, I recommend that you also visit the sights of Raippaluoto, e.g. Granosund Fishing Village and Saltkaret observation tower, not just the bridge. Although the bridge is unique in Finland, I would't drive here just because of the bridge.
Very beautiful bridge. Parking on the both sides. Tasty small shop near it with a fresh different style smoked fish and meat. Very windy.
Visited on a really windy day, but were happy to see the bridge and the gorgoeus setting. A very recommended attraction if in Vaasa!
Great bridge, a cosy restaurant by its side - especially summer season brings it alive; boats, tourists etc. On one's way to deeper into the archipelago.
It is a bridge, there is bigger, higher bridges all around the world nowadays so it is wow until you hve seen something else
The bridge was a great attraction when it was built but with todays standards and competition it is really nothing special.
