I have, over the last 67 years, eaten a lot of steaks, in a number of high class locations, including at the captain's Table on the QEII, in 5 star hotels, and in a variety of different restaurants at home and away, and the steak I had here was one of the best. The meat had obviously been carefully selected, it was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection, medium rare, a crusty exterior and juicy inside, served with oven roast vegetables and french fries, I was in heaven. My wife had fillet of fish with similar vegetables, and a delicious sauce, it too was perfectly cooked and presented. Desserts were just as appetising, the only downside, for me, was that somebody had introduced them to squirty cream, otherwise all was to the highest of standards.
This will never be a restaurant competeing for a Michelin star, nor seeking accolades for haute cuisine, but as a venue offering what I consider to be superb food and cooking, in a delightful setting and at affordable prices, this must count as amongst the best, certainly along the Dubrovnik Riviera, and possibly on the Adriatic.
As an aside, during our meal a torrential downpour occured, the sight of the chef and barman hastily dropping the canvas sides to the terrace roof was a floorshow in itself, and when you fly out of Dubrovnik airport, check out the staff in the ground floor cafe, you may be in for a suprise.

If you don't have a reservation, may take some time waiting. It's definitely worth to wait and have have a drinks first in down-stair bar. It's relax and delightful to drink and have dinner there. The grilled mix meat is so tasty!

I had reviwed KK online before we wwnt on holiday. All I can say is we were not disapponited. What a lovley place. The KK has a lovley view of the sea, with a real feeling of eating outside as the windows pull right back. Father & daughter Taya are lovley people. Taya was working alone this particular niight & did an amazing job, faultless :) even when a party of 20 arrived who had not booked! The food was beautiful, fresh, full of flavour & presented well. King is right large portions as well. Go if you get the chance.

The best restaurant in the area! Wonderful restaurant with an ocean view and comfortable , casual feel. The restaurant is family owned with the whole family participating in food preparation and service. The food is fresh and the seabass in particular is delightful. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. We sat on the top deck with an ocean view and breeze. We had 13 family members at ate here 3 of our 5 nights. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. You will love it

Small family run konoba (like a taverna rather than a restaurant), which is off the complex but well worth seeking out. (At the top of the road from the hotel, turn left upbank) The bar is below & the konoba is above & gives great views (including haunting views of a war damaged hotel just up the road) along with great home cooked food & not too expensive. It only opens in the evening; it is quite small & so we’d recommend booking – to avoid disappointment.
