This is our first holiday in Omis and I feel sure we shall return. There is so much to see and do, that a week is not enough. The beach is sandy, which is good for sandcastle building, the water here is shallow and so very safe for young children, the beach bars are great. There is a good variety of restaurants which are all very reasonably priced, with mostly excellent and friendly service. We did a trip to the Radmanove Mlinice (Mills) on the River Cetina, where we swam and ate lunch. A trip to the island of Brac and the Golden Horn (Zlatini Rat) beach was also a day to remember!
Omis is a very photogenic small town, with some very old and winding back streets (traffic free!), with surprising views around every corner, especially those of the old castle. Something of interest for everyone!
