Perfect location and a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The hotel was modern, with a new elevator and good air conditioning. Nice room that was clean, with good beds. Although there was music outside, in the room it was perfectly quiet. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The price was OK, it wasn't cheap but I think all good hotels in Croatia are expensive. We enjoyed our stay there.

My husband and I stayed 10 days in Aparthotel in October 2009. Not the remarkable aparthotel. Good location in a small city, even village. Facing the sea, near there are minimarket, small restaurants adn good promenand to the nearest village Promajna. Room is satisfyed. Kitchen area without window: this is a hall between entrancwe and a bedroom. Huge flat TV.

We stayed in Milenij 2 weeks at the end of Aug, beginning of Sep (family with 6-months old baby).
We had an appartment on the top floor with 1 bedroom, kitchen/living room and fantastic terrace with a wonderful view.
Reception ladies during emailing about details as well as within whole staying were very helpful (they arranged a minivan meeting us at Split airport, for additional price of course), waiters on a ground floor restuarant were also nice (breakfast is included, but also if you dine there they have a discount for hotel guests as well as special offer everyday with very good prices).
Beach can be reached by lift through the garage, which is a good help with a baby coach (btw, hotel provides a baby cot). We usually were going to the left from the hotel (25-30m), up to the small cove (during high season beaches there are very crowdy I guess).
Although this aparthotel's price is relatively higher than on avg on Makarska Riviera, I'd say the overall cost of staying there bearing in mind all said above is fine.

p.s. Since myself asked before the trip, and now being asked what's the difference between Baska Voda (BV) and nearby Brela, I'll put a few notes, hope you'll find it helpful:

Brela is rather more touristic place indeed (more package tourists), but in BV there are more locals (also Croatians) as well as more private accomodation, so you can feel it differently.
In Brela all beaches are just fantastic: pebbles are round, smooth and pleasant to walk/sit, even for a kid. In BV pebbles are sharper, you have to wear special swimming slippers.
In Brela - only big hotels are on a coast line, private accomodation is higher following steep roads/paths. BV is different: the road / promenade is on a higher level, but no such heights difference.
In Brela - one of the most beautiful & comfortable path along the beach and beyond (a few km I guess): you can easily go even with a baby trolley, especially evenings it's so lovely indeed. In BV although is a nice marina where all summer events happen.
Prices in Brela resturaunts I found slightly higher. Also, there's only one supermarket, when in BV at least two.

Room Tip: Top floor's one bedroom apartment has a spacious terrace with fantastic view

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the third floor. Both bedrooms had a sea view but only one had a balcony. The apartment had 2 bathrooms, lounge and a small, well equipped kitchen area. The rooms were very clean and tidy and were serviced daily.

The hotel has a small outdoor pool which we didn't use because the beach was across the road. It is a pebble beach and so the water is very clear, so clear you can see the fish swimming in the sea. The sea is very calm. You can hire beach loungers for 20 kuno per day and sun umbrellas also for 20 kuno per day.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant which serves really good food which is inexpensive. The hotel also has a pizzeria on the beach which also serves drinks and ic-creams. There is also a fitness suite and a wellness centre which offers a variety of treatments such as massage, facials, manicures.

All the staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is approx 5 minutes walk to the town centre with lots of bars, restaurants and shops en route. Baska Voda is a small town with a good beach. There are boat trips to Brac and Hvar islands from the harbour most days. You can also hire boats, jet skis and parasailing.

Room Tip: Sea front rooms have lovely views towards Brac island. A

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apt with side sea view. Both bedrooms had a view. Sadly bedrooms had separate balconies, and the lounge/kitchen/dining room had no windows at all. Not too big a problem we put all the balcony chairs on one balcony (it was plenty big enough), but the main room felt a bit gloomy because of it, although on the plus side it was big and fairly comfortable.
The apartment was well equipped and clean, and serviced daily. The staff were very helpful.
The hotel restaurant was not too great compared to other places we ate. Pool quite small but the beach was across the road. Very quiet location near the end of town, but only 10 minute walk to the harbour, with shops, bars and restaurants all the way there.
Would recommend this hotel, but not Baska Voda if you're looking for some Croatian culture forget it you could be in Spain, Portugal or anywhere in the Med. Very expensive wifi in the hotel lounge/internet room, nothing in the rooms - go to the Internet cafe Riva. 8kn for a beer and free wifi - cheaper even if you leave the beer! (we didn't)
