This hotel is a great base to explore the Cloud forests and activities in Monteverde. It's a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town and is in a quiet residential street (which is great if you are looking to relax). Rooms are pretty simple but clean, all set in lodge style rows. Breakfast is fine. For the price we thought this hotel was really good but it is more of a value option, not luxurious.

We like the beautiful garden, the breakfast and the service. The view from the room is wonderful.
It is a hard job to walk from the city centre to the hotel when you are not in good condition. The people at the reception were great and very helpful to make excursions.

This hotel was beautiful and was in a great location. The service was excellent and everyone was very helpful in helping us enough joy the activities in the area. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were large and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are very simple, but paper thin...
People at the reception desk is quite friendly. But staff at restaurant very rude. Seems that they never see foreigners. No smile, no interaction at all. Even when you speak Spanish.
Breakfast very poor.
Won't come back here again.

I was happy to find this small, clean hotel so well situated with respect to access to the rain forest, canopy walks, coffee plantations. It is on a hill overlooking the local soccer field and a 15 minute walk from the small 'downtown' area. Close to businesses, but not in the busy and noisy main street.
