“Good place to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2013

We enjoyed this place very much, however it is seems to be a bit overpriced. The guide was very competent and gladly answers all questions. The ticket includes 2 visits, so plan one of your visit after dark, when most of the frogs are active.

“Neat frogs, but not very impressive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2013

The frog pond was a good way to see some frogs that are native to Costa Rica on an otherwise cold and rainy day, but there weren't many in the glass cases and it would've been more fun to find them in the wild.

Good variety of different frogs. The guide was excellent and we learned so much about the different frogs. If you can go visit at night when the frogs are more active.

“Evening Visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2013

Frog pond and butterfly farm share the same entrance but are different attractions both with quite high prices. Evening visit to the Frogpond using torches allows a view of nearly all the exhibits so it's just about worth it.

“Ok, but not worth the price!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

We got to see many different frogs and toads, as well as a couple of snakes. We went at night, as suggested, but its very cold and windy tonight, so the frogs weren't very active, our guide said. It was a nice little tour, and took us just under an hour. I don't think it's worth $12/person, maybe $5-7. It's enclosed so maybe only do it if you love frogs, or if its a really rainy/windy night and you are looking for something a little sheltered.
