This B&B was a relief after the city. The staff was helpful and we met many other travelers. We had decided to take tours and Evan arranged everything. When we returned home and realized our pictures did not work Evan got us duplicate photos of our zip line tours. The rooms were large and clean, breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I rented one of Harvey's apartments from February 5 until April 5, 2010 in Santa Elena Monteverde. Harvey was a great landlord. When something didn't work right, Harvey or Almond, his employee, was at the apartment usually the same day or the next morning fixing the problem. My security deposit was returned immediately upon turning in the keys.
I moved to San Ramon de Alaquela on April 5. I made several friends while in Santa Elena. I will return often and will most assuredly stay at Harvey's Hotel Camino.

Andres was very helpful and courteous when I bought my bus ticket to Nicaragua to renew my visitor's visa. I would highly recommend staying or scheduling a tour through Harvey, Andres Gomez, or their staff. Their experience, courtesy, and attention to detail went beyond my expectations. I'm sure you will be treated with superior services if you contact Comino Verde Hostel and Info-Center in Santa Elena Monteverde.

I have zero complaints about this bed and breakfast (also known as Tina Casita's B&B). Stayed there for a couple of nights to experience Monteverde. The view was incredible. The room was spotless and cheap. The shower was hot. Breakfast was made to order each morning by a lovely Costa Rican woman, and could come with eggs and toast and even beans and rice. Next door was Mary's, a fantastic soda run by the sweetest woman in C.R. The kitchen was open for use, if you preferred to cook for yourself. Town was a 2 or 3 minute walk, where you could find more food and some fun bars. Evan arranged everything and gave great advice as to what to do. We chose to zipline. He then arranged a shuttle to Tamarindo for us. He was fantastic.

I would recommend this place to everyone who visits Monteverde. It's pretty much perfect.

We stayed in this family-run B&B for 2 nights and really recommend it.
The rooms are basic, but have a good warm water shower. We were happy with the comfy mattress, no foam but springs!
The staff was extremely helpful. They run a booking agency for all tours in town and they went to en enormous amount of trouble to get us a really good deal on a rental car, which the rental company drove in from San Jose.
The next door restaurant serves the best casados in Costa Rica and is really cheap...there's always loads of people there; locals and tourist alike.
The B&B has both double rooms and dorms, but is quiet. You can hear the club down the street though, but earplugs gave us a good night sleep afterall.
All in all, for 20 dollars, this is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip.
