We visited Curu Wildlife Refuge and Tortuga Island on November 6, 2012. It was a perfect time to be there....no crowds, barely any other people. Our tour guides were friendly and sweet. We had a delicious sandwich lunch and got to play with the domesticated boar on the beach. The snorkeling was beautiful - mostly clear water and tons of fish. There's not much to do once you get to Tortuga except lay around on the beach. We enjoyed this tour, but would not do it again for the price. It was $140 for my both my husband and I. Bathrooms are available, but you have to pay to use them :(
