The food at Pito's was delicious and highest quality! HIGHLY recommended to go there!! We tried the sea bass with shrimps and were delighted by the great and fresh taste. The location also has a certain change to it, real Costa Rican atmosphere!!

I cannot get over this place - the food is AMAZING quality, everything is so tasty and cooked to perfection. My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in Clandestino Beach resort and we ate here THREE times even though it was just over an half an hour drive. The owner Pito is extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to choosing from the menu and everything is made from scratch from the freshest ingredients. I only wish we were staying longer so that we could eat here again. The first night we had Sea Bass with shrimps in a cream sauce. The second day for lunch we had Sea Bass again in a garlic sauce and on the last night we had steak with an amazing Jalapeño sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

This hidden jewel of a restaurant has some of the best food I've had in Costa Rica. My wife and I had the Pacific Sea Bass (corvina) with Shrimp, which was excellent. We also had our 3 grand children and the restaurant is kid friendly. It is located in . Coming from Jaco, you turn left at the road just before the Playa Bandera turn. The very small fire station, along with a sign for the restaurant is at the turn. Pito's is about a half of kilometer down the road.
the place is well worth a visit. We met Pito, who is both the chef and owner. He is very attentive and has great culinary talent.

The other reviews are spot in with this hidden gem. When we arrived after reading the reviews and the directions we all laughed (5 of us) that we would never have stopped and eaten here; it's WAY off the main drive, there was not another single customer when we arrived (7pm) and "Pito" was running things all by himself. However, as soon as we sat down it was obvious that we were in for a treat.

Pito is wonderful! We waited our table and could not have been more happy and pleasant. He served our drinks, made us fresh salsa and salads, along with hot and fresh "chips" and then started on our dinner. Everything was fantastic!

If you are staying in this area, visit for sure! Quick tip when using a GPS to find Pito's..... Take out "Pito" and just search Que Comemos - it will list as Que Comemos Bar. That's the place!
