We stayed one night in a dark and humit homestay in Una after which we decided to visit more hotels/guesthouses. Compared to the other guesthouses we found at South Ceylon the best valued rooms in town.
Because the budget rooms were full we decided to allow ourselves a more expensive room which was a lot better than what we could find in Una for comparable rates.
We loved our clean and spacious room and enjoyed it for 3 nights. It had the softest matrass an pillows we had had in 5 weeks of traveling! We also ate three times at their delicious vegetarian and vegan restaurant, which has food to die for!
Because of the frequent visits to the beach, the room and bathroom got a little bit dirty. The owner could have provided us with additional clean towels and perhaps a quick cleaning of the room, but we're 100% sure that if we would have asked for it they would have done it without any hesitation as they help you in every way they can and are extremely kind. We would definitely recommend the guesthouse and restaurant to anyone when they visit Una.
