I always try to stay with the local food, forget the Dutch-Mex and the Outback Steak house mentality. Rice and curry is a common theme with Sri Lanka so enjoy what is done well while you are here. So following this theme and being one not to mess up a good thing I ordered vegetable rice and curry spicy. My friend ordered the same not spicy. My food was really good so was my friend's food except his showed up as fish curry. Luckily he likes fish and had skipped it as a choice since he did not want to mess with bones, there were no bones luckily.
The atmosphere for the restaurant is a open air restaurant on the edge of the ocean, when I say open it means no walls only a pitched roof with massive hanging lamps. The wait staff was attentive and well trained. The place is unique in Unawatuna since you get so close to the water without having to be on the beach to eat. Also has free WiFi.
