“Delicious Food, Fantastic Teacher”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2012

We were looking for a cooking class in Sri Lanka since we loved the food. Finding this amazing place, we couldn't have been happier! Karuna was always laughing and smiling and she knew what she was talking about. We got to take home the recipes and make it for our families. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. A definite must do!!

“Excellent cooking course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2012

Karuna made this one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. She arranged a great cooking course and we learned a lot about Sri Lankan cooking. It was nice to visit the markets in Galle where we could shop some spices to bring home. Highly recommended!

“Great Day - Fun and Informative - want to bottle Karunas Laugh”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2011

Always thought curry was hard to cook and took ages, I was wrong and Karuna was my guide to the basics of Sri Lankan cooking. the day is 3,000 RPS and includes Tuk Tuk into Galle to the market and spice shops wereyou can buy everything you need to recreate the delicious dishes at home. you will also not neede an vening meal I had to be rolled home. Karuna is excellent, funny, patient and unfotunately now married; proof that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. This was one of the best things I did in Sri lanka and if you are in Una Watuna this is a culinary investment that will yield returns for the rest of yr life so get off your sunlounger and learn some skills.

“An excellent activity to break a week of sunbathing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2011

Karuna is amazing, not only does she have you laughing all the way through, she guides you to cook some fantastic food also.
The devilled potatoes, daal and chicken curry will definitely all become part of my home cooking repertoire from now on.
A great day and highly recommended.

“Tasty Food & Great Host”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2011

After reading the reviews on here it was difficult not to join Karuna's cooking class! I'm not going to go into much more detail as the other reviews have it spot on. Food is simple but TASTY and Karuna explains very clearly. I took my very macho boyfreind with me and even he enjoyed it!

We paid 3000 rupees each and that covered everything. Simply a must do in Unawatuna - you wont be disappointed!
