You need to order this breakfast one day in advance. We tried these local dishes here and we found it very well done and delicious. Especially the sambals. Don't miss it.

We went there for dinner and had soup, a vegetable curry mix and a whole grilled fish. The meal was very good but spicy if you are afraid of too much spice. The value for the meal was very good as the taste and portion size was good.
The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed but the service was fairly slow but that seems to be a pretty common theme in Sri Lankan.
We decided to go for the cooking class that was offered and though the end result of the food was really good, the actual cooking experience was pretty disappointing for me. We were taken to the market in Galle and asked to pick out 3 vegetables. That was pretty cool except for the fact we really had no idea what we were actually going to be cooking. The other thing that was pretty odd from my experience was the fact that the woman giving the class didn't actually do any teaching. She basically did all the cooking and added the ingredients herself. We did get a printout of the recipes but didn't get much of an explanation during the whole process. We did a lot of standing around and watching. Definitely disappointing.

Yummy yummy, moist a so well cooked. Service was friendly and helpful.

Could do with a couple more fans in the ceiling.

Of course you also have to say hello to the big Mallu in the aquarium, she loves company.
