We went there after reading about it in Lonely Planet. But I had to say I was slightly disapointed by the cuisine. Maybe the jumbo shrimp dish for 2000 rp isn't the best of their dishes. We also had coconut sambol which was good.
The location is nice.Located right on the beach like many of Unawatuna's restaurants.
The owner is a friendly person. She chatted with us after I inquired about what happens when the water level is higher. She said it gets flooded almost every year. And during the tsunami she lost her father and sister who were working at the restaurant at that time.
