“Steel City Durgapur”
Reviewed November 6, 2008

Durgapur known as steel city of West Bengal, one of the largest steel industry chain in India. Don't worry about where to stay if you ever gone to Durgapur. there are numerous luxury hotels out there. Say Peerless Inn, Ginger, Luxor, Riviera - A river side resort and a lot more.

Apart from from that you can visit Durgapur Science Park which seems like small jungle in the corporate jungle. Really they have tried to attract people by decorating the park pretty nice. And neet to mention is this is the park which runs primarily on solar energy.

Another worh mentionable park is Troika park which located right beside the Durgapur Science Park. Filled with a big lake for marvellouse boating with a rope way on top of it. thats a pleasent experience for young couples in the moonlight evenings.

And here comes the City Centre. The youth hub for shooping malls, multiplex and a lot more. There are 2 big shopping malls you can hang out whole day long. One is Bix Bazaar and another one is Spencers. Among them Big Bazaar is very busiest that I have seen. You can get discount 7 free gift offers on any day.

You cannot end your tour in Durgapur within a day that I can bet for.
