When you are looking out for a family meal, you would like to be choosy about the venue. We were visiting our daughter over the week end in Noida. We were a group of eight and were keen to have a chinese meal. After an animated discussion, we zeroed down on Mandarin Trail. After a wait of 30 minutes, we were escorted to a cosy table in one corner. That allowed us to have our informal discussions.
We generally avoid soup as it ruins the appetite for food. For starters, we ordered some fish and chicken. The main course consisted of haka noodles, fried rice, shredded lamb and chicken with black bean sauce. Fresh lime and soda goes well with the food. What impressed me most was the prompt service. Despite the restaurant being packed to capacity, our order was served in quick time. The food was excellently prepared with the right assortment of sauces and the helpings were decent.
Thanks to the Citibank card, I got 15% discount too. It was a great dining experience and we walked out of the restaurant fully satisfied with the quality of food and money's worth.
The ambience was decent and the staff was well attired and courteous.
