Loved being back in safari and seeing lots of wildlife here in the park on land and on boat tours on the Nile River! The Murchison Falls, fed by Lake Victoria, are awesome and majestic!

The strength of the water fall at the top of Murchison falls was enough to satisfy my visit to the national park. Though you can also have a variety of wild life during the game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River... I highly recommend a visit this Park indeed

Stunningly beautiful, especially in the eve. We walked down the hill side and saw it that way aswell as taking a boat trip up the Nile.

At the top, the noise of the water is so so loud

a must see place

I've seen most of Uganda's interesting places and this park is definitely one of the most beautiful places to visit.
It's rich for the amount of animals . I have seen everything, large herds of elephants, almost scary to see so many together with cubs and from so close, lionesses with puppies (all together were ten), a lot of giraffes, leopards twice (one fareaway on a tree and another one accrossed our way in the evening) eagles, owls, vultures, antelopes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, many others
On top of that it has beautiful landscapes so even when you don't see animals its wonderful to admire the landscape itself.
It is also interesting to see the park from the water, as it is possible to see these wonderful animals when they go to drink and then there are them, the huge hippos to soak.
Its interesting the tour on the boat, I have done the one of 2 hours. Very relaxing . The boat arrives to a point where it is possible to go down and do a bit of trekking to rich the highest point to admire the water falls. I didn't do this part . I prefered to rich the water falls by car. Very impressive to see how the waters of the Nile, before taking to the waterfall, are powerfully tumultuous and seriously dangerous, in all this spectacular.
....don't miss it, it a very nice national park and deserve to be visited

We stayed at the Murchison river lodge for 2 nights. We did 3 game drives in the park (2 morning + 1 afternoon game drive). The landscapes are stunning in the park, you have a beautiful delta, the falls, savannah plains, some forest vegegtation. The wildlife in the park is amazing ! We saw 9 lions, 2 leopards, 2 hyena, elephants, lots of giraffe, uganda kob, waterbuck, bushbuck, hippo’s. For people interested in birds, it’s a paradise ! We saw the shoebill stork, bee eaters (carmine, little, red-throated and swallow-tailed), different species of kingfishers, black-crowned night heron and birds of prey (red-necked falcon, harrier hawk, brown snake eagle, fish eagle, ..). On the boattrip towards the murchison falls you will see lots of birdlife and crocodiles, hippo’s, elephants on the shoreline. I would recommend this park to everyone going to Uganda. It was fabulous!
