We were olny able to stay one night at Clivia Place but hopefully when I return for a more detailed visit to see the battlefields this is where I will aim to stay. We arrived in a heavy rainstorm and were made most welcome and shown to our rooms which are set apart from the main house. The accommodation comprises of a room with twin bed and a room with a double bed both, with en-suite. There is a sitting room and kitchen (for self-catering) and outside a remarkable garden. The owners are Tish and Tony Coleman and Tony is a comes highly recommended as a historian and battlefield tour guide. The breakfast was excellent and was a good start for a continued tour.
