We visited the resort for the second time in July/ August 2013, and were just as impressed the second time around.

The resort is beautiful with a few steps to lovely clean and safe beaches.

The staff are awesome. From the efficient welcome by Club Med staff at the airport to leaving, we had the most friendly and helpful service the whole time we were there. The staff were all especially friendly to our toddler son, who soon had his "favourite" staff members.

We enjoyed a deluxe room on the ground floor which was really convenient for getting onto and off the small beach in front of the room. The room was always cleaned spotlessly and is a good size.

The food available at all times had a great selection and was fresh and tasty.

We left already planning when we can come again!

Room Tip: The deluxe room with chairs on the patio and access to the beach are great. You also don't hear the "party" noises from the main complex when in your room.

I was fortunate to stay there for 4 days, when I visited Port Louis for work.

The Hotel has great packages to keep their guests entertained.

Loved the evening shows by the staff, Very funny and creative.

All in all I would Highly recommend the place however the wine they serve has too much Sulphur

Room Tip: the Tv's are mounted on the walls so it affects the next door neighbors

What a great resort. The atmosphere is amazing. If you are looking for a fun hotel that keeps young and old entertained then this is the hotel. The beach is very beautiful with a little coral. We stayed in the club room - sea view. Try to stay away from the garden view room as you have no patio/balcony. The all inclusive is great and a large variety of meals.

Room Tip: Choose the sea view room and not the garden room. The suite is also beautiful just request the ground floor option

We went to this club med hotel as part of a large corporate group. It is a 4 star facility. Although the place itself is quite beautiful, there were a few really strange things about this hotel. The first thing we noticed when we got to our room was that there was no tea and coffee facilities. At first we thought they must have forgotten to put that in because in SA, even 3 star hotels have this very very basic convenience in room. So we phoned reception to ask if they had forgotten to put it in. We were told no, only deluxe rooms get tea and coffee facilities in room. The rest have to walk to the bar for tea and coffee. This was so incredibly strange! Then there was no gown or slippers in the room as advertised on the brochure. We asked for that and fortunately after a bit of a wait that was brought to us. Then we saw that we didn't have full rolls of toilet roll in the bathroom. Then we saw that there was no wifi in the rooms as advertised. Once again we asked and were told we can buy wifi for 400 rupees a day. Then if you want to sleep early after a long flight and transfer, beware the pounding thuds of the " after party" that starts after 10 pm when the shows end. Thus is quite noisy and if you're in a room that is closer by the main area of the hotel, you will be kept awake by the noise. There was only one shop at the hotel and prices were ridiculous. The food was extremely plentiful esp, the dinners, but I found it quite average. The desserts were marvelous though. Breakfast is average and lunch does vary, but nothing to rave about.

On the plus side, absolutely everything is included in your price. You get all your meals included and all your drinks. For those who like to drink, this is the place to be as its all free! This is a great place for kids. There were tons of families with little ones there. They have great kiddie entertainment, facilitates to keep your kids busy while you relax and very good child minding services. It's actually a great family hotel. The beach is fabulous with loads of water sport much of which is free, and the pool is very inviting. The hotel give aqua aerobic classes to those want it and diving classes as well. They also play lots of games with the kids in the pool.

So if you can look past some of the things I mentioned above, this is a good place for families with kids.

Room Tip: If you going with kids ask for ground floor rooms. If you going as a couple, ask for the rooms furthest away from the main area.

A week breakaway in the perfect setting! Excellent entertainment nightly and the food was delicious at every meal. The entertainment team were so positive and vibey, we had as much fun as we could every second of every day. Water sports were well organized and available throughout the day. Excellent night shows and the discotheque was busy and fun each night. Staff were friendly and helpful each night!excellent value for money! It's not as romantic as its other counterpart La Plantation Albion, but for a fun week full of entertainment and water sports it's perfect! We will be back!
