Rooms basic and clean. Roomy enough to fit dog crate in room. Staff friendly and helpful. Had dinner in Tavern was very good.
Prices are not cheap in remote locations this should not be a surprise to travellers.
I would stay again.

Filthiest toilets I have seen for 5000kms. Honestly do not think they have cleaned properly for years. Instructions to wipe after pooping were somewhat helpful but not entirely necessary...
Roadhouse was somewhat cleaner.

Hi Lauren, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We deeply apologise if the ablution facilities were not at the standard we expect. Please know that they are cleaned multiple times a day to deal with the high volume of guests using them. We hope your stay with us was otherwise positive!

This place was much better than expected. The pool was nice, the food excellent, and on the whole, a good place to stay. The decorations might be a bit outdated and basic that’s all. Very handy too. The floors did creak but that didn’t worry us.

Apart from camping out in the scrub there isn't really any other option but to stay here however that's no real issue as the place is fine. The check in for the hotel is separate from the main business and so that speeds things up. Lots of info about tourist stuff in the office and the check in process was quick. Rooms are basic but functional and you are far enough off the highway the trucks won't wake you up all night.

The pool is small but that didn't seem to bother the people escaping the heat by getting in it and it is a very short walk to the main shop. And you can grab your fuel on the way in/out and the place has an attached restaurant and bar.

All too easy...
