“Boutique interior in the heart of the Cairngorms”

I've stayed at Erindearn a few times now in all seasons. It's fabulous year-round. The house is nestled in private gardens but only a short walk from the train station and the main street's pubs and eateries. It's a short drive in to Kingussie which is a slightly bigger village and then on in to Aviemore.
The house is charming. A lovely old stone-built property but with a very stylish interior that's also cosy and homely. With two big rooms downstairs there's loads of socialising space to hang out in a group or snuggle up at the log burner just as a couple or a family.
We loved the four poster and the rolltop bath in the ensuite. the kids loved the jacuzzi in the main bathroom.
Great location and great house. Some self-catering properties we've been to have felt a bit tired or dated but this one is really special.
