Stayed here on 14th August 2013. Jacquie and Mike are perfect hosts, friendly, welcoming and professional. A beautiful property which has been lovingly improved and decorated, safe parking, no noise from the road down the driveway. We stayed in the 4 Poster Bedroom which was very spacious with a really comfortable bed and beautiful, quality furnishings. Lovely roll top bath in the e suite. Slept very well, the whole place is spotlessly clean.
Breakfast, superb!!! I had the eggs benedict - totally delicious, the best I've had in fact. And we've stayed loads of places. Hubby had the kipper and enjoyed that too. Rated as 5 star and it truly delivers 5 star. As a gateway to the west coast you'd be hard pushed to find anything better. £105 included our breakfasts. We will be back soon.

Room Tip: 4 Poster Bedroom was spacious and very comfortable bed with beautiful furnishings.

Thank you Jacquie and Mike for such a memorable stay. From the moment you both warmly welcomed us into your beautiful home we were absolutely delighted with everything. From the guest lounge where one can ring for drinks to be served to the immaculately appointed and spotlessley clean room. The four poster room was amazing, large, tastefully decorated and appointed with quality fixtures and fittings, Lovely large ensuite with beautifully soft towels, nice toiletries. We liked the small fridge, the bottled water, the little treats left by the bedside. Such wonderful gestures to make one's stay extra special. As for the award winning breakfast's they must be tasted to be believed. Even the continental only option has so many choices it's hard to decide what to have. From the abundance of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and Jacquie even finds time to make her own croissants!! You can even order a light meal/snack from a menu.
It's clear that Jacquie delights in making her guests comfortable and to quite frankly spoil them. Their beautiful home has been a labour of love to renovate over a number of years and I'm so glad that you persevered so that guests such as us have the opportunity to truly appreciate all your hard work.
You just have to stay here to truly experience this amazing guest house-more like a Boutique Luxury hotel but without the price tag.
Again, we say thank you for the hospitality and such a memorable stay. Ard-Na-Coille, would have to be one of the best places we have ever stayed, if not the best-quite frankly faultless!

Room Tip: The four poster room was wonderful, very big, large windows, big ensuite, dining table, fridge, oh s...

We stayed here one night but I wish it had been more. The received a lovely welcome from Mike and Jackie. We stayed in the four poster bedroom which was spacious and airy. There is also a very high standard of cleanliness which would put a lot of four star hotels to shame. In fact this is a very high quality B & B. There was plenty of tea or coffee in the room with a selection of biscuits with water also as an option. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast next morning was again of a very high standard. I would highly recommend this B & B and look forward to returning.

From the moment we arrived, Jackie & Mike were the most welcoming, friendly & attentive hosts. The b & b is immaculate, no stone s left unturned to make it the most pleasant of places to stay. We stayed in the room with the four poster bed which was lovely & spacious, the mattress on the bed was so comfortable too! Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as perfect as it was, and it was clear that this is exactly how all guests are treated. A review of Ard-na-Coille would certainly not be complete without a mention of Jackie's delicious eggs benedict, her pride in her star dish is fully justified. A wonderful place, cannot recommend enough.

My family and I booked 3 rooms, for 1 night, at this outstanding B & B in June 2013. We were welcomed by Jacqui, who was a delightful and attentive host, and shown to the 3 rooms. Each room was quite unique, beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. All rooms had fantastic views over the surrounding hills and countryside. The rest of the house was just as tastefully decorated and clean. Jacqui also recommended a local pub for dinner which served wonderful food. Breakfast, the next day, was delicious. Lots of choice, from oatmeal to eggs served whichever way you liked. Nothing was too much bother for Jacqui who made all of us feel so welcome in her home. All of us can't wait to return to this little gem of a B & B.

Room Tip: Ask for the 4 poster bed room - fantastic!

A beautiful house, lovingly restored. Every detail has been thought of....down to soft dressing gowns and a perfect breakfast. A completely attentive host! Comfortable and secluded. A real treat at a very reasonable cost

I wished we'd stayed longer than 2 nights! We had a lovely welcome from Jackie. Room 1 was delightful: large comfortable four poster bed and spacious room with wonderful view. Spotless and very tastefully decorated. Delicious breakfasts.
