Just returned from a fantastic stay at Coig na Shee, the other reviews are spot on. This is a wonderful place to stay. Marion and Graham cannot do enough for you. Cannot wait to come back.
Thanks for a great holiday.

If visiting the Scottish highlands we would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Coig Na Shee, the setting is wonderful, the house beautiful, and the proprietors charming. The setting is well placed for trips out to surrounding countryside attractions, any future stays would be booked well in advance as we feel once people know of the place a busy time will be had by the owners (lang may their lum reek)W.R.Porter (Mr)

This is a beautiful building and the friendly owners have provided many nice touches frequently missing from hotels charging more than twice as much.

We stayed in the Firs room, which was spacious, nicely furnished and spotless. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with plenty of room for a bath and separate shower. Nice touches such as a jar of tasty cookies, quality coffee and herbal teas, fresh milk, tealights and a selection of CDs, DVDs, books and magazine really made us feel we were treating ourselves. The following morning we enjoyed a delicous quality cooked breakfast as well as fresh fruit, good coffee and toast.

The property is in nice grounds by the A86 heading out of Newtonmore towards Laggan/Spean Bridge. We walked just a few steps down the road to access the local network of paths which we hope to explore further, as we will surely return.

While here we had a good bar meal at the Glen Hotel, which is within walking distance and had a good atmosphere for food and drink.

What can we say, lovely hosts and lovely rooms. Breakfast rocked and stay was fantastic.

Clean spacious rooms, lovely view, good bathrooms, crucial after walking the glens. DVD player in room and lovely biscuits (the lemon and white chocolate ones were fab!)

Good value for money

Definitely recommend and will go back if in area.

We have just returned from staying at ciog na shee for three nights and feel we need to add our review for others to see.

My wife and myself together with two daughters and there two husbands stayed in three of the five rooms at the guest house. All were spotess on arrival and each day when we returned , the beds, bedding and en-suites were also of an excellent standard. The breakfast was again excellant and the welcome that we received on arrival and each day on our return made the place feel like home.

We would recommend a stay at this little gem any time'

This was a wonderful little hotel/b&b on the edge of Newtonmore set in a beautiful location with stunning views from the rooms and dining room. The owners couldnt have been more helpful or friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in if you are visiting the highlands. We hope to be back soon.

Marion and Graeme are delightful hosts, providing very friendly and helpful service in this most wonderful house. Bedrooms are spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Great position on the edge of town. This is a luxurious standard of accommodation - and for just £34 pppn, it really is a bargain! Can't wait to return soon.
