I stayed here after doing an epic hill walk and cycle and was greeted by the friendly owners on arrival. Nice hot showers (nice soap too) after a long day outside. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and alcohol is on sale too which is handy. My gluten free friend was also catered for without any hassles.

I'm trying to get my holidays sorted so I can work out when I can return to Crubenbeg. Been twice with my partner and both times we have been absolutely delighted.

Trying to hard to think of a flaw....nope....If there is one place in Scotland I think of a nice relaxing retreat - I'll be thinking of John, Irene and of course Rajah.

Hospitality is the best I have experienced and Irene's cooking is outstanding.

We stayed in the Ospray and once in the Stag and both are very nice indeed. (stag 4-poster bed has the most luxurious bed covers!)

Its just great! and there is a brilliant photo location down at the falls too!

A special place this where they make you feel like a valued guest. Food and wine excellent and the service exceptional. My only regret is that we couldn't stay more than 1 night!

My boyfriend and I stayed in a one bedroom cottage in Crubenbeg for a week in January intending to have a walking holiday. The area saw the biggest snowfall in over 30 years, so we spent the days skiing and the evenings warming ourselves in front of the eco-friendly log burner in the lovely cottage. The accommodation was just perfect for our needs. Good quality kitchen and living area with fab views out over the hills. The bathroom was a little dated, but functioned perfectly well and there was always plenty of hot water. The bed was on its way out a quite rickety, but the owners told us that they were replacing it anyway. The extra touches such as the DVD's sledges and of course a much needed helping hand digging us out and towing us when we got stuck in the snow driving back to the cottage all made this holiday very special and memorable.

Located just off the A9 just short of Newtonmore - a good place to break the journey from the central belt for those travelling further north. John and Irene are both very friendly and efficient, and their hospitality was excellent, particularly Irene's breakfasts - we were spoilt for choice! Their recommendations for places to visit were also spot on.

Crubenbeg was very well set-up for pets too and our dog enjoyed it immensely!

Overall we would highly recommend Crubenbeg and definitely intend to stay there again.

We were so happy with everything at this lovely B&B. John & Irene are fantastic hosts and we felt right at home. Waking up to Irene's oh-so-yummy breakfasts and stepping out to see deer and rabbits nearby were certainly memories of our unforgettable holiday. Thanks John & Irene for making our trip so memorable. Love to you both and Raja :)
