“Gorgeous Cottage”
Reviewed June 21, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We stayed at the Coach House in Glentrium Estate in May 2017. The cottage is set in the most beautiful surroundings with an abundance of wildlife such as birds, deer, red squirrels and hares. The Coach House is a really lovely cottage - beautiful interior, loads of room, all the mod cons and a woodburning stove. It has a lovely garden with table and chairs to use if the weather is nice. The area Glentrium is situated in is great for outdoor activities such as walking, hillwalking, cycling and sightseeing. I would definitely reccomend staying at the Coach House.

“Cosy and stylish cottage with red squirrels in the garden”
Reviewed April 26, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Coach House cottage was a lovely place to stay.
It was stylish, spotlessly clean and cosy, with plenty hot water.
We are keen hillwalkers and the cottage is very well placed for lots of walking. There is even a super wee walk to a great viewpoint just behind the house.
Wifi seemed fine, although we did not use it very much.
Archie had put out loads of bird and squirrel food before we arrived and there were pheasants and chaffinches outside - and of course some very well fed red squirrels - we counted 5 in the garden at once!
Deirdre and Archie were friendly and helpful, and we were also welcomed to the cottage by a bottle of wine and some tasty crisps.
We'd be happy to go back again, and take the bikes next time.

“Perfect winter mountaineering base”
Reviewed February 28, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We booked the cottage for the week to climb the local Munros. The cottage is very well presented, warm and cosy, which is what you need after a long day out on the hill. The hosts could not have been more helpful and I can thoroughly recommend the breakfast pack.

“A hidden gem!”
Reviewed March 2, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

This cottage was a perfect rural getaway for 2 couples. It had all the necessary facilities to make it a really comfortable stay. The log burner was certainly a treat after a long day of walking in the cold! The cottage is set within the Glentruim Estate surrounded by beautiful ancient woodland. It is the perfect base for exploring the Cairngorms and only a short drive to the Highland Wildlife Park. I would highly recommend, and we look forward to our return in the not too distant future! Thanks Diedre & co for a wonderful stay.
