had the pleasure to pop in here at the weekend, was only popping in for a quick cuppa. although the place was very busy(always an indication of good food being served). we were served immediately, we chose the panini's, macaroni cheese, tea, coffee and a juice. service was prompt and staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with our queries regarding the village. food was well presented, plentiful and absolutely delicious. after such a great snack we decided to try out some of the many home baked delights from the menu.. raspberry cheesecake was out of this world and the chocolate cake was simply scrumptious. as this was only a short stop for refreshments we then purchased some home made tablet for the journey and some home made lemon curd for when we got home.
all in all this place is a hidden gem, will definitely be back..

Arrived after a day drive back from Ardnamurchan. Our youngest was in need of her bacon roll and they got the pan out and made her one also more chips than she could eat, I think she had them for breakfast the next day!!
Breaded Haddock and chips were great if I had a crictisim it was that I was too full to eat any of the cakes. We'll be back to try out the home bakes soon

There are Home made Soups, Breads, Biscuits, Jams, Cakes and Snacks not to forget the breakfasts, lunches, freshly ground coffees to die for.
As a Bonus i got to have a banter with Betty,James and the staff
I wentout the door with a smile on my face. i got married that day in Newtonmore, where else to settle the nerves and have a good hearty breakfast for the day ahead, which turned out to be (yes) "the nicest day of my life.

Toilet facilities with access for our wheelchair bound customers are also available.
