“A must for breakfast”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

We visited this cafe while on a recent visit to Thorpe Park. We stayed at the nearby Travelodge in Chertsey walked to this cafe for our breakfast. The cafe was busy with almost all tables full when we arrived. We were seated quite quickly though and given the menu. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and we opted for two full English breakfasts. We asked for the beans and tomatoes to be substituted by mushrooms instead and this was gladly accommodated. The bacon was delicious and the whole breakfast was nicely cooked and well presented. Good price too - under £6 for a full english of 2 sausages/2 bacon/a egg/beans/tomatoes/toast and tea. Couldn't complain.

“Awful Customer Service”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

Myself, two friends and our children visited this cafe on a quiet afternoon and before we even sat down we made to feel as though we were in the way being asked to move to the other side of the cafe so as not to disturb other customers. We placed a sizeable order and were met with barely a grunt from the waiting staff who periodically matched over snatching sachets of sugar and salt out of the children's hands. Our food was slammed down in front of us without so much as a glance which is a shame as the food itself is not bad. The experience was quite upsetting - I don't remember ever feeling as unwelcome in any establishment as I did in this one - anyone with any kind of enjoyment of customer service should avoid the ladybird like the plague - truly awful

“Pie Mash and Liquor!”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

I think they only serve this on Thu, Fri and Sat, but if you are in the area and have never had pie, mash and liquor, you HAVE to give it a go.
The service is excellent, fast and friendly.
This is what palces used to look like before they had continental names.

If you don't try it, you will have missed out on a real treat.
