Went for a family Sunday lunch and oops had not booked a table (will do so next time) the guy in charge of the seating and bookings was really helpful and because of a cancellation we got a table and only waited about 15 minutes. The staff are really helpful and professional and we had our grandaughter with us and needed a high chair and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was excellent and the service fab. Really comfortable and will definitely return.

Been here 3 or 4 times while staying at the hotel over the bridge.

Chain pub that I've been in a few branches - this one is particularly good because the staff are always so good.

Waiting staff are helpful with suggestions and are very chatty and friendly.

Never had a bad meal at this one even when there was a funeral wake on and they were rushed off their feet.

Look out for online drinks/food offers.

A large pub which has good food at good prices. The decor is 'pub and inkeepers cottage', with a few sofas and bar tables. Food has a good range of variety and is quick and service is good. Love to chill out here on a Sunday with some wine. Car park a bit small and awkward, but not
a bad place at all.

Nuked (?) veg and cold atmosphere annoyingly busy if you are even looking for a quiet pint. The Bridge on the other side of the river is far better!

We had lunch at the Kingfisher and enjoyed the three course offer for £10.50.The offer is available mon-fri 1200-5pm.The food in the offer is good value for money but if you dont like anything on the special you can use the main menu which has plenty of choice. The restauarant was very busy which is always a good sign and the service was very good.
There is a large outside seating area which is nice in the summer.
