I visited the park in mid September on a Saturday and came with my family of 4 adults and two children aged 11 and 13. The day was very fun filled but I have to say that I was disappointed with the low number of rides we managed to get on due to the long queues for the main rides.
The queue times were fairly accurate apart from Collossus that was quoted as 40mins but actually was 2 hours. Personally I think that was due to poor management of the fast track and normal queue. I missed out on Saw as a result which was such a shame.
We managed all the main big rides though, my favourite of the whole day was the walking dead purely for the fun factor and just giggled all the way through.
Fast track was so expensive so we didn’t do that and if I ever come again I would do mid week as it seems that the queue is much better then.
For pure pleasure on my nephews faces after each ride I would come again but would also say the car park was great on the way in but so ridiculously slow on the way out. Took an hour to leave which is just a joke and could be managed much better.
Overall, great fun had by all but felt like plunged into an upper and lower class system due to fast and not fast track and end of the day felt grumpy due to queue to leave to drive the two hours to get home.
Alton Towers for me next time as much better when I went there.
