A traditional hotel on the seafront. We enjoyed good pub-food and good Shepherd Neame ales. We were also fortunate enough to be upgraded to a larger room with sea view which is to be recommended.

I have been coming to The Fayreness Hotel for 20/25 years. I have always been on my own and if I prefer a different room, they do their best to change it for me. They are helpful and have a nice sense of humour.

This was our first stay at The Fayreness Hotel. We liked our spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location of the Hotel is lovely. We enjoyed the food but did comment that it would be nice to have more choice for vegetarians as I am vegetarian; but the breakfasts were really good and have a huge selection for everyone. The only slight criticism is that more attention to detail re cleanliness and maintenance would be good, but we are NOT saying that the Hotel was dirty. We also noticed that the signal to the television kept breaking up! The Hotel has a nice atmosphere and plenty of free on-site parking. We intend to return to this lovely Hotel.

Room Tip: We had a sea view, executive en-suite room with a kingsize bed: very spacious room.

My wife and I stayed here for one night at the end of a short holiday in Kent and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return as we were really impressed with the hotel and would like to explore the area a bit more.
The location is lovelly, next to a beautiful beach with sea views from the bar/restaurant and breakfast areas. The room was really nice, spacious and clean.
Will probably bring bikes next time so we can cycle to Broadstairs and Margate along the sea front as we kept seeing people go past on bikes and wished we had ours!
We had a few drinks in the bar/restuarant which had a nice atmosphere and seemed popular with locals popping in for a drink too. The breakfast was good and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Overall a really good experience.

We have always stayed at the Royal Albian, but they were full so found the Fayreness. Wow was a location and how great is the service. There is a much more customer focus vibe from this hotel than the Royal Albian, so much so we will now always book to come back to this hotel. Breakfast is wonderful and larger portions that the Albian, so is the dinner. This Hotel is more value to the pound than the Albian is. I hope once the refurbishment is completed it will not lose its charm, or value. Please do not raise your prices too much.

We chose the Fayreness because of its position on the cliff. Wonderful views. We found the service excellent from checking in to checking out the staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast was delightful, as was lunch and dinner. Room was small, but we were informed of that, so it was expected. It's nice to have had such a lovely break.
