Symonds Yat West Leisure Park
Reviewed September 11, 2013

The weather was superb which enhanced the fabulous views. Visit the log cabin cafe too, for a wide range of snacks and drinks.

nice place for the family. canoeing a lot of fun, the boat trip not worth the money £5.50 adults £3.50 kids. pay & display parking. not bad prices for food. kids liked the amusements. would visit again but not regular. good for scenery & biking.

What a rip off the arcade inside has a play area a trampoline and a bouncy castle £2 for 10 mins ,bearing in mind I have three children, it was practically empty ,at 9 mins past the rude girl came to tell me times up I paid for some more this went on but I felt it was empty could she not have given my children an extra few minutes especially all the money we spent and it was empty. My children went on the bouncy castle and some large boys came so they switched to the trampoline she was straight over demanding another £2,total rip off and rudeness ,never visit again!!!!!!

we visit here twice a year just as a day out, its great for kids, with a butterfly farm, a maze, crazy golf, garden centre, and across the way a lovely restaurant in a fabulous hotel. Its a cheap day out although you have to pay admission fees for the attractions but very good prices for what you get. The butterflies are very stunning, it freaked my son out when they landed on his arm but great photo. The maze is great fun with the family on who can get to the look out tower first, we would be in there ages. Make sure you go to the loo first. The food in the hotel is lovely ,a bit pricie, but you get what you paid for, we hired bikes from Monmouth and cycled to Symonds yat. We took a boat to cross the other side to the restaurant cost a pound.

Good location and few places to stay here so the attitude of the staff reflected this i felt.
One older male member of staff was very aggressive and rude. Would not recommend. Loud until 2 am
