We loved Pazo a Capitana! Pilar, who speaks English, was a wonderful hostess. We so enjoyed drinking Albariño on the patio and strolling the lovely grounds. This mid 17th century estate has been beautifully renovated. The breakfast was sumptuous, with espresso and steamed milk served in small pitchers, fruit, pastries, breads, flan, freshly squeezed orange juice (from the trees in the vineyard) and Iberian ham.
The location is easy walking distance to the three old downtowns. Pilar told us of a seafood restaurant, in the nearby working-class fishing village, called Casa Pintos, where we drank Albariño and ate raw oysters and fabulously tasty scallops.
Wonderful stay in a magical place!
