Amazing coastline with forests ending in cliffs plunging into crystalline clear blue coves. There are a ton of footpaths to explore by foot or bike. Medieval villages and various gastronomic and cultural offerings.

Do walk it.It takes almost one hour and a half. Beautiful sightseing, lovely houses, the sea, rocks, seagulls, etc. It's sheer Costa Brava.

Our apartment was near Golfet and our daily walk of about 15-20 minutes to Calella was excellent. We also ventured on to Llafranc (45 mins) which was pleasant but more modern than Calella. We ended up stopping at Tamariu having been to Pals for a quick walk around (very nice!) and I think the walk from Golfet to Tamariu would have been about 1hr 15 mins. When we return, we will definitely explore more of the area on foot including Jardins De Cap Roig.

Over several days tried out most of the coast path round the local bays. Relaxing, lovely plants, spring flowers, scents, blue green sea, boats, great views & opportunities to visit relaxing coves - some beaches with adjoining cafes & restaurants, some more remote with sand or pebbles (great for stone balancing, one of our favourite pastimes). The May weather was like a UK summer & very welcome.

Loved every minute of walking on the nice pathway without any cars! Only the sound of the ocean on rocks (or sand), with the scent of honeysuckle blooms. The path goes thru rock tunnels that are intriguing, and then past beautiful oceanfront homes. Boats can be seen in the distance on the turquoise waters.
