We stayed here in the week it opened for the season in May 2013 on half board. We had a prestige suite in the top floor with excellent views of the river and sea. The room was modern and confortable with a well appointed bathroom. The upper level sun deck with sunbeds, loungers and jaccuzzi was where we spent much of our time enjoying the excellent weather and views.
Breakfast and evening meals were very good especially the freshly prepared omelettes, crepes, fish and meats. There was plenty of choice in the buffet and the service was very good.
The hotel gradually filled while we were there but standards remained high.
It was a little disappointing but understandable that the two other restaurants were not yet open.
The gardens are compact but attractive. The gym was good but no water was available when I went at 07:00 before the gym officially opens.
The resort was a good mix of tourists and locals with a large marina and sailing club. There were plenty of places to walk and the signed walk around the town via the river, mill museum and puig was especially interesting.

We love islands, and this is why we chose Ibiza (we came right before the high party season). Among many hotels we chose this one because it offered all the amenities we wanted while traveling for several days. But when we actually stepped at the foot of the hotel, the service team charmed us once and for all. Not only we got the beautiful spacious room with nice side view over the pool and the sea (it is perfect because the sun never shines directly to it, so it's always cozy to stay on balcony and have a drink), but we were offered free dinners during our entire stay. Being a little skeptical about the buffet food, we were very surprised once again. The choice of foods and ingredients exceeded all my expectations. Starting from wide variety of fishes and meats that could be cooked in front of you upon your request (unlimited, again), following with a diversity of cold aged spanish meats, fishes, and fois gras. The most pretentious traveller would be satisfied by the choice and the quality of food. So this was quite a n addition. Apart from the food and room, the service stuff was exceptionally professional and nice. I would say it this way: the best service is an invisible one (in a good sense). A manager always remember the choices of wines and beers we preferred in the restaurants. All the requests and inquires regarding anything about the island were executed as soon as it was possible. At last, the area of the hotel is nice itself with a very nice bar that will prepare a tasty pina collada with fresh pineapple instead of a simple juice, and it feels very cozy sitting right above the nice pool. What more would you want from a hotel? Right, the spa services, which they also offer.

Room Tip: I enjoyed the rooms on the side building (number 2). It always feels cool and fresh, and for me bein...

After such a favourable stay in this resort earlier in the year, my wife and I decided we would come and spend a week here at the end of the summer.

We found the hotel as warm and inviting as we did in the summer, albeit with a slightly more
palatable temperature than in the height of summer months.

Our room was located in the east wing of the resort, which was a difference from our previous stay, where we were located in the main hotel complex. We had opted for the same category of room as per our previous stay, however, in this instance our bathroom was significantly smaller than our first stay, but the room was exceptional none the less.

As we had enjoyed our previous stay so much we were really looking forward to a relaxing week in the sun. Unfortunately this is where things start to go downhill, the hotel is very different at this time of year than it is during the peak summer months, we had been looking forward to the pool area being a little quieter, the breakfast area being a little less of the "grande bazzar" type affair that it can be when the hotel is at 90% to 100% capacity.

To our disappointment because the end of September is close to hotel shutdown everything goes into a "wind down" mode.

The breakfast buffet which previously had been exceptional was missing a couple of small ingredients, not a big deal in the grande scheme of things, but I have to say, you did still expect Strawberry jam for breakfast when you're paying €200 a night.

Much to our disappointment the two non buffet restaurants were closed for the season, so the only dinning options were the buffet or in-room dinning.

The buffet restaurant which was excellent in the summer, unfortunately lacked the variety and choice of the summer months, with the menu being cycled every two days, rather than weekly as previously. This meant the food became extremely repetitive, and whilst our room rate included our dinner we opted for room service or to eat out on a number of occasions because of this. On the evenings where we did eat in the buffet restaurant we found it stiflingly hot as the air conditioning was switched off (to save money we were told) and the doors were closed because of it being too windy outside.

The biggest issue I have with coming to this hotel at this time of year has to be the pool, because the pool is not heated, as I found to my dismay, the water temperature dips dramatically to the point of becoming unusable, had I of known this, I would have picked an alternative destination for our stay. The whole point of staying in such a luxurious hotel and paying what are expensive rates, particularly for late September is to enjoy some sun, and while away the hours in the pool, with the pool at this temperature only a handful of children braved the almost Baltic water temperatures. When I asked the Spa desk could I use their pool during the day (as it's heated) I was informed only if my wife and I would "stump up" the extra €70 a day to do so. I was so insensed at the response despite having explained the main pool water was too cold, that I refused to use the Spa pool.

This hotel has a real Jekyll & Hyde personality, great place to stay in the summer months, but, after August I strongly suggest you steer clear, we will be certainly look else where for our end of summer getaway!

Sorry Insotel, but these are inexcusable errors in judgement, your guests deserve the same quality resort everyday that you are open!

We stayed here for two weeks last summer. Every aspect of the hotel was exceptional. The service, food, cleanliness and swimming pool lived up to and surpassed our expectations.
There was one very small downside which I hope the management will consider rectifying. The sunbeds in the pool area were extremely uncomfortable to lay on..... there are no cushion covers covering the beds.
Otherwise, it was a fantastic hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days in September, 2012. We wanted a restful holiday as my wife was recovering after a bout of illness. We stayed in the middle room on the top floor exactly opposite the pool bar. The additional cost for a rooftop spa bath was worth it. Breakfast was ok, but the evening buffet, which we paid for one night, was disappointing for the price. The Oriental restaurant was a much better option for those staying B & B, but would be extra if you were staying half or full board. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and there were usually sufficient loungers etc round the pool, despite the efforts of some guests, some of whom left towels on empty sunbeds from early in the morning until mid afternoon. Santa Eulalia is pleasant with a good promenade and plenty of places to eat and drink. We had never been to Ibiza before and were pleasantly surprised. We would certainly stay here again. The hotel closes at the end of September for the Winter.

Room Tip: top floor rooms facing the pool bar (above the main hotel entrance) have a rooftop space with jacuzz...

Stayed here back in may with our 10 month old son. Stayed in prestige suite with the rooftop area. Was great as it was our first holiday as parents and it enabled us to have evening glass / bottle of wine on the roof and the baby monitor still worked . This hotel is immaculate and santa eulalia is a very nice resort. Breakfast lovely ....only down side is dinner didn't start til 7 which not ideal if you got small children/ babies .....so we had room service a lot!

Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Prestige suites were great

We stayed here for a week at the end of September last year. Definatley one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in on the island. Great location in Santa Eulalia and a short walk from the town centre. We traveled with our baby daughter and we were looked after throughout our stay. If you can I would stay in one of the premier suites with the roof top terrace and Jacuzzi. We stayed half board with breakfast and evening meal, great selection of food and great service in the restaurant. Spotlessly clean and 5 star all the way, will defo stay there again...
