This is your typical large 5 star hotel that wows you with all the amenities however lacks the personal touch you get from a boutique hotel. At a cost of Euro 300+ a night we expected a little bit more / or a few extras thrown in (maybe free water in the room, use of the gym, use of parts of the spa, wireless internet) However the hotel seemed to charge you extra for everything you wanted to use or do, except the outside pool.
It also always amazes me how 5 star hotels can get some very simply things wrong like letting their maintenance team use a pressurised motor (that shook you to your bones) to water the plants directly outside the guest bedroom windows pre 8am....especially disappointing when it continued for a further 20 minutes, after we first called reception. Not the fault of the Fenicia but there was also a constant unpleasant sulphurous smell in and around the hotel that we think was due to the natural sea inlet at the back of the hotel.
To be fair to the Fenicia they were kind enough to give us an upgrade to a larger room as we were on the last 3 nights of our honeymoon....however I do wonder what we should have got for our Euro 300 a night?? The best feature was the buffet breakfast............an amazing selection to meet all tastes. This quality / value was not replicated in the pool restaurant.
Next year we will stay with one of the more boutique hotels and will leave this hotel and other large chain hotels for business only in future...................we can always pop back to use the 5 star amenities and pay like the rest of the hotel guests!

We stayed here in May when Ibiza was having unusually bad weather, so spent a lot of time inside the hotel with a toddler. If we had been a couple without kids, the hotel would have been perfect - fine dining with plenty of time left between courses to relax & sip wine, and spa facilities/heated pool (albeit with an expensive charge).

The staff were friendly and keen to please & the food was absolutely fantastic. However, there were two aspects which we found inconvenient:

(1) Late dinners - our package included dinners so we stayed in most nights. Problem was the dinner service didn't start until 7.30pm and even then it ran at a very relaxed pace. The first night our little one was falling asleep at the table by the end (past 10pm). We got smarter as the week went on (e.g. one of us going down to order for first), but really wished there could either have been an earlier session or even an informal cafe.

On the plus side, to their credit the chef was happy to provide exactly the items we requested for our little one (since there was no kids' menu) and she ate like a queen.

(2) Spa and heated pool - despite the hotel's name, guests have to pay for passes to use any of the spa facilities, including the hotel's only heated indoor pool. With the rain, the outdoor pool was unfortunately off limits to us and asking us to pay for expensive day passes per guest per day (especially with a toddler, where you wouldn't use the pool for very long) left a bad taste in our mouths.

Other than the above, the hotel is well-located for a walk into the town and to beaches and the room was luxurious & clean.

This hotel is based in a good location if you want to be near to a town with a choice of bars and restaurants and enjoy walking along an esplanade. There is also a marina slightly further along the esplanade with a good selection of restaurants there.
We choose this hotel as we wanted a nice hotel but also wanted one which was baby friendly and we got just that. From the moment we arrived, everything was already set up in our room - the cot, bottle warmers and kettle.
Although our baby was too young for the childrens club, we found the baby pool to be just perfect for her and it was sensibly tucked away from the main pool so we felt the children and babies could be as noisy as they liked without disturbing the relaxing vibe of the hotel!
The Spa in the hotel was lovely and between 5pm and 7pm you can take children & babies in there so we had a family spa session which was a lovely treat.
The restaurants were expensive so we tended to walk outside the hotel and a few hundred metres away were some nice little places to grab a bite to eat.
We also made use of the babysitting service (the hotel use several agencies) which we found to be very reliable and we felt very comfortable with the English girl who came to babysit and even met the owner of the company one evening (Kids in Ibiza - great agency).
All in all a really good holiday and very happy with the hotel.

We spent a long weekend at the Fenicia and were really impressed. We have been visiting Ibiza for 20 years and have stayed in most of the high end hotels and this is up there with the best of them. The rooms are not quite as large as the Ibiza Gran but are still very nice indeed and the pool area is really stunning - as nice as anything i have seen in Miami or Dubai. Service was good, staff were very friendly - thank you to Jane on the front desk.
The only draw back is that Santa Eulalia is really not the nicest of places to take a walk in to and is certainly not a patch on Eivissa or the port area. If you are happy to stay within the hotel grounds and drive to the nice restaurants located around the island then this is a great choice - if not the town does not match the hotel and you will find yourself limited for choices locally. We would stay here again and it is certainly a good choice for families and doesn't have a party vibe.

The hotel was more than great!! The staff was so helpful from the time we arrived to the moment we left. They booked us the best restaurants & all their suggestions turned out to be the best choices (from clubs, cafes e.t.c.). I strongly recommend it to everybody who would like to visit Ibiza!!

Room Tip: If you can afford it, try the Prestige Suite...

We found the hotel first class. The facilities were excellent, the rooms were of a high standard the food quality was very high. A special thank you to the staff especially the reception and the restaurant staff - they even made my wife a birthday cake. If you want to stay in Ibiza and you want something a little special then this hotel is worth a visit. Santa Eulalia is a great part of the island to stay in. This is a family hotel - the kids pool was just right for our little ones.

Room Tip: Book direct - we saved around £1500 pounds

There are 2 fairly new spa hotels that sit at either end of Santa Eulalia. I'd stayed in Aguas de Ibiza previously and enjoyed that but thought I'd try out the Fenicia Prestige. I booked a prestige junior suite, as it had a private rooftop terrace with whirlpool and the price was reasonable, for such luxury!!!

The room itself was nicely decorated in a neutral modern beige and brown style, although not particularly as stylish as you would expect for a 5 star property. The bed was adequate but not particularly comfortable. Bathroom was fine, and like the room, was spacious and also contained a whirlpool.

The main glitch was that to use the terrace whirlpool unless you wanted a cold bath (not great at the end of September in Ibiza), it was not possible to simply start it yourself, you needed to summon a member of staff to prepare it for you with warm water, which over a week became tiresome. As this was one of the main reasons the hotel and this type of room was reserved, it did put a dampner on the stay. All the staff were perfectly pleasant and service throughout the hotel was in general good.

The breakfast room was light and airy and like the other communal areas was decorated in typical run of the mill hotel 4-5 star style. The outdoor terrace for breakfast was pleasant. With regards to other reviews that have stated that the breakfast was marvellous, I would largely disagree. There is a fantastic array of foof to choose from, however, the quality of the food varied greatly and trying different items often led to disappointment!!!

The hotel is a short, pleasant 5-10 walk along the beach to the centre of Santa Eulalia. It's a quiet, family resort and all amenities are typical of such a place. It's a 15 minute short bus ride/drive to Ibiza Town.

I didn't use the spa at the hotel, although I think the spa at Aguas de Ibiza did look much better.

When comparing this hotel to Aguas de Ibiza in Santa Eulalia, that I had reviewed previously, it was certainly lacking in room comfort, design, pool area etc and food quality. The price of the Fenicia Prestige is favourable when compared with the price of Aguas de Ibiza, but it is reflected in the end product. I will be returning to Aguas de Ibiza, however I would probably not return to the Fenecia Prestige.
