azuLine Hotel Mediterraneo

We stayed here for a week recently. What a lovely welcome from every member of staff from reception, bar to cleaning staff. We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely pool area. Lots of sunbeds and a lovely shady area by the bar. they make good sangria too. The room was spacious, with plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. the bathroom was newly tiled and spotlessly clean. We did have a couple of times when the water ran cool, but that wasn't a problem really. The balcony was big enough for a couple of chairs and a small coffee table. Our room was at the back of the hotel, but I can honestly say that we didn't hear any traffic noise. (Maybe because of all that sangria). There's an internet corner and plenty of books to borrow. We did pay extra for aircon and a safe.

Breakfast is ok. Sometimes boiled eggs, always ham and cheese. Different breads to toast and a choice of cereals. The coffee machine also dispensed hot milk so you could make your own hot choc or milky coffee. It was served until 10 am.

The location is excellent, just a stroll away from the sea front. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby and it isn't far to walk to the marina for an even greater choice. We sat in Liquido a couple of times at dusk, looking at the swish boats. Very near the hotel was Cote Sud restaurant. It used to be a french restaurant, but now is Spanish. It has a lovely courtyard filled with flowers. The tapas is great, with their own twist on the traditional. One night we went to San Antonio for the sunset - it really is a must-see.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It is very friendly, in a great location and good value for money.

I stayed at the Mediterraneo the second week in august I have to say it was the worst accommodation I've stayed in! Although it was acceptably clean I could compare it to staying in a hostel. luckily we payed for air con but the maid decided to turn it off and take the remote away with her on every occasion she cleaned the room which defeats the object!the staff were helpful but too nosey and in your face for my liking especially the night staff.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the beautiful Santa Eulalia Ibiza. We stayed for the first time at Hotel Mediterraneo. We would definitely go again. The location was good central for shops, restaurants and beach. Rooms quite basic but had what you needed and were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was continental only but had a wide variety and was fresh and nicely presented. The dining room had a relaxed feel and was a pleasure to go into in the morning. The pool area was clean with plenty of sunbeds to go round. All in all an excellent Hotel we will be back next year.

We stayed at the Hotel Mediterraneo in the first week of September 2010 and were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the staff were friendly and it served as a perfect base to explore the rest of the island. I had read previous comments about the showers not working and the quality of the breakfast - and although the shower did take some time to heat up occasionally, there were no issues. Similarly the continental-style breakfast on offer was perfectly fine and there are plenty of places to buy an English breakfast if that is what you would like to do. I would recommend the hiring of a fan and safety deposit box as only a few of the rooms have air con. This cost us around 50euro for both for one week.

Santa Eulalia is a lovely resort a great location from which to do some exploring. There are plenty of restaraunts to choose from and a great beach, promenade and mariner. The majority of clubbers stay at San Antonio and Santa Eulalia is a family/couples destination. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to friends and family.

staff were so friendly, hostel, sorry hotel was spotless. small room, tiny balcony, 3rd floor at back. no aircon, no ceiling fan, no extactor in bathroom. was so unbearable to go back to, let alone try to sleep. i know it was august and very hot but you would think in this day and age the very least you would get is a ceiling fan. couldnt leave balcony door open because of all night traffic noise from main road and bus terminal at back. breakfast was very basic. plus points. great resort, great food, very cosmopolitan.
hotel location handy for main road and bus terminal.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a friend and can't fault it - it is exactly what we were looking for. It was incredibly clean, the pool included. It's a 5 minute walk to the seafront and all the restaurants and bars. It's ideally placed for the bus stop to take you all over the island if you want to explore. Gabriella, the owner is lovely, and her and her team coudn't be more helpful - in fact we met a few guests who have been so happy there they return there frequently and are greeted like long lost friends. If I had to nit-pick at all, the breakfast is a bit basic, which isn't unusual on the continient, and although the streets are very clean I wish the bin-men hadn't emptied the bins nightly about 3am, although not the hotel's fault !! Would stay there again with no hesitiation.

The hotel is managed well with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are basic and clean. Our room had no air con, which was a downer. Unfortunately, all the portable fans were in use or broken. Good place away from main area. If you get a room on the back you will be exposed to continual noise from the passing traffic, including buses and coaches (airport and party buses). If you can get through the first night (like us) it doesn't become a problem. Breakfast is a good mix of cereals, fresh fruit, meat, cheeses and breads/croissants. Enjoyable.
