Atenea is right in the middle of the bay of Santa Eulalia with uninterrupted views of the sea and is rather more upmarket and tidier than many of the other establishments along the paseo. We come here regularly for coffee or a drink as it is so much nicer than sitting in the main square with all the passing traffic and no view, but not often to eat as we found the food rather pedestrian. Recently, however, we stayed for a bite and enjoyed an outstanding avocado and smoked salmon salad with a mustard dressing - just perfect for a light lunch. Beware the house white wine however - even Vina Sol is better than this! Spend a bit more on the wine and your meal will be much more enjoyable. For the location alone, Atenea scores as 'Very Good'.
