Hotel Tres Torres
Reviewed October 19, 2011

My partner and I have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Tres Torres Hotel 12th to 19th October and thoroughly enjoyed it. We have stayed at Thomson's Gold and Platinum hotels but this hotel was better for us. We are in the 55 to 67 year old age group and are able to find things to occupy our holiday without having games exercises and entertainment provided constantly each day and evening. Saying that the entertainment provided at the Tres Torres was very good on three evenings during our 7 night stay. The restaurant staff, reception staff and room attendants were very friendly; for example Geraldine on Reception, Sylvia and Jose in the restaurant and Dani and Martin at the bar. They all gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. There was an excellent choice of food in the restaurant and although the presentation was not as good as some Gold hotels the quality was better. The hotel location cannot be faulted, room location is important though, we selected a sea view at an extra cost and were situated on the third floor, high enough to have a great view over the palm trees situated near the swimming pool and seating area of the grounds. Only one slight problem was that at approx 3.30pm the sun was directly shinning strongly on to the balcony not giving any shade but it didn't spoil our enjoyment. I can understand why people return to the hotel year after year. The weather during our stay was more than perfect. This is an adult hotel and there is a dress code of no shorts for the evening meal which is quite understandable. The only complaints we could make were the size of the wash hand basin in the bathroom, it was enormous and there was a slight lack of drawer storage in the main room, other than that a very good place to stay.

Room Tip: From third floor up excellent views provided you request a sea view room

We stayed at Tres Torres for a week in late September.

Hotel staff were very helpful and polite.

Rooms whilst basic, were clean and a decent size, they could do with updating, but were absolutely fine

Food was of a good standard with a healthy selection to choose from at both breakfast and in the evenings

Great location, close to the beach and shops, bars, restaurants etc

Would definitely go back

I have just returned from the Tres Torres with my friend, was disapointed at it been rated 4 star the entrance and dining room are lovely but the bedrooms are tired and need updating.

Saying that we had clean bedding and towels each day and was loveley and clean.
Food was media oker breakfast was good evening meal not up to much, male staff in dining room didnt acknowlege you not good at all ,Female staff were more friendly, this is the second time to Santa Eulalia beautifull resort for families, great location near the marina but for the price we paid to stay here didnt get our moneys worth.

There was no music played ,it was full of retired people a lot who have prob.stayed here before and were friendly to each other ,did feel like the odd ones out think next time I stay it will be self catering, there are some good english bars ,one near to the marina,Mels bar and the one next to it on the front really friendly hosts made u feel so welcome.

Very noisey walls are so thin they r like tissue paper you could hear everything from people talking first thing in the morning to them getting showered ,not what u expect from a 4 star hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a harbour view

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at hotel Tres Torres. This was our 2nd stay at the hotel (our 1st was 2 years ago) and although certain areas of the hotel were tired back then the reason we returned was due to the excellent staff, the location and the food of good quality. Sadly it was not the same this time we found the staff to be completely unattentive and it came across as if it was end of season couldn't be bothered attitude. I can count on one hand the amount of times we got acknowledged by reception staff and as for the restaurant staff, well we felt we were an inconvenience for being there. Carmen however from housekeeping is fantastic, she is so so nice & made such a fuss of our 3 year, who loved her.

If you want to go abroad and eat steak pie, brussel sprouts and every other British dish then this is the place for you. Breakfast is decent but evening meal is not the best.

The location of this hotel is excellent right on the marina so this is definately its major selling point. The hotel pool area is nice and we were able to get a sun lounger most days later in the day when we were looking for one.

We travelled for a family occasion with others in the party staying in a couple of the other 4 star hotels in the resort both of which were far superior for food and rooms however not as good location.

All in all we had a great holiday in Santa Eulalia which is a fantastic resort but I feel its about time either hotel Tres Torres has a make over or it is regraded to a 3 star hotel.

have just come back from a lovely week at the tres torres. The staff are friendly, rooms clean, and food lovely.Unlike some of the other people that have reviewed,we always got sunbeds after our breakfast at about 10.We stayed with our grandson whos two,and the staff were absolutely lovely with him and made him feel the centre of attention. We usually stay at another hotel in Santa Eulalia as we come most years, but we will definately stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel at 5.30am (should have been 10pm the night before) There was not a single bottle of water in the hotel and my husband had to walk 2 blocks to a garage to buy some. Our room was not as described in the brochure, the toilet wouldn't flush, the air con wouldn't work and the taps were filthy. The bedlinen and curtains are faded and the whole place needs a complete makeover. If your are at the back of the hotel the views are non existent and at the front overlooking the marina, you have loud blaring music until 11.30pm. The beds are like concrete!
On the plus side, breakfast isn't bad! I would never stay here again though but absolutely loved the resort Santa Eulalia!

Room Tip: there isn't one!
