My family and I travelled to the hotel to celebrate my 50th birthday. As always we were welcomed by the wonderful staff at the hotel, where the cleanliness and service are as high as ever. The entertainment is enriched by the return of Adam, what a talented young man, who works so hard to get everyone involved in the activity programme. Congratulations Adam!

Although the all inclusive package which is being offered for the first year is good value for money in terms of drinks, snacks and the Italian meal, I cannot believe how different the evening meal was. This was our sixth visit to the hotel in the past few years and we have always raved about the quality of the evening meal. Sorry Geraldine as we can see how hard you are all working to balance the books, but the evening meal offering was less than my expectation and a disappointment resulting in our family eating outside of the hotel in the evenings.

We would normally return to the hotel in September of each year, but have decided to give it a miss this year, whilst everything settles down.

In summary, wonderful staff, a beautiful and very clean hotel with excellent service, but take some money incase you need to eat out of the hotel in the evening.

A group of 6 family members recently had a week in Es Cana in Ibiza. Four of us stayed in the Hotel Panorama with Thomson Gold. The hotel itself is very spacious and has an excellent pool and sunbed area, despite there being a large number of sunbeds some oldies still had to be up at the crack of dawn to get their towel on their favourite bed! The bedrooms were ok and were kept very clean. The buffet style meals have plenty of choice, were not of the highest quality but were perfectly acceptable. There are plenty of options to eat out nearby including Marvent which is just 50 yards from the hotel which does excellent service all day.

The entertainment team at the hotel deserve highest praise. The daytime team are lead by Adam, don't really know how to describe him but for sure you will be entertained and will not forget him! The show team who performed shows ranging from classical to musical to British pop through the decades were superb. Four young talents, James, Luke, Charlotte and Rebecca performed to a standard worthy of a far greater stage. I for one will be keeping an eye out for there names appearing in major west end productions.

We are already planning a return in September and would recommend the whole package

Room Tip: Although rooms looking out to sea have lovely views they are also the noisiest due to adjacent bars. Rooms overlooking the pool are preferable.

We returned to the panorama for the 6th occasion as a family group ageing between 22-59, as always the hotel was lovely friendly staff, everywhere very clean and lovely rooms, we went all inclusive which was defiantly a good package for our group, however the standard of evening meal has dropped which disappointed us enormously as we are normally full of praise for the quality in evening meal. We were pleased to see the return of Adam the Thompson entertainer he is excellent day and night and works very hard. Due to the low standard of food for evening meal we ate out each evening where you can get lovely food at very reasonable prices, a new Italian called mamma Louisa was very good, we ate a few times at Solimar which is excellent value you can have a lovely three course meal for 9 euros and Rio's bar where Tina and Felix provide excellent entertainment, (you will find Rio's go straight on from the Erreso hotel. Escana is a beautiful place if you are looking for a break in Ibiza.

Wanted a bit of sunshine at half term so booked for the Panorama as it was a relatively short flight and the hotel was adults only. We booked a suite with a sea view which gave a magnificent view of the bay and the small harbour. The room was large and well appointed with the usual flat screen TV three piece suite, tea and coffee and bottled water provided daily. The balcony had two sun loungers, two chairs and a table. The hotel facilities were very nice with the kidney shaped pool around a pool bar and loads of sun beds, although the beds around the pool are very close there are areas on the terracing which are more spread out. The entertainment is provided by the excellent Thomsons Gold team both day and night. The bar area had limited seating and were normally taken by the time we had finished our late dinner. The menu in the restaurant was limited but good quality. We chose the All Inclusive package but if returning to the hotel would probably go for the Half Board option as Es Cana has a good choice of bars and restaurants. We had a great walk to Santa Eulalia along the coastal path through the pine woods and past the beach bars and spent the day promenading along the beach front. We also visited Ibiza Town by the ferry from the little Harbour at Es Cana. Don't miss the Hippy Market on Wednesday its amazing. Overall the holiday was really good and just what we needed.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the sea view suite but some guests complained about the noise from the resort. So if you are 'early to bed' go for a pool view.

Booked this hotel as its all inclusive and we wanted a 7night holiday with a short flight 2 hours, room was ok facing street not huge room but clean, food was good for the all inclusive they have a snack bar open from 10 to 6 in the main bar area food was always warm and good choice, you also have the option of the main restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner so never hungry, pool is vey nice lots of loungers and a nice pool bar to get your drinks. estrella beer on tap is great! Although we are in our early 40s it didn't matter to us that most other people there were in there 60s-80s, entertainment at night is very good but aimed at the older generation to be honest. Adam the Thomson entertainment guy is really funny and although we are not interested in taking part in the daily games as relaxing by the pool he kept us entertained watching him he certainly earns his money! overall if you just want a relaxing holiday for a reasonable price then the Panarama is ideal! would definitely stay again visited 4th-11th May 2013
