We booked this holiday through our local Thomas Cook shop in Hythe, Hampshire. Karen, our agent, knew we wanted an adult hotel, peaceful and relaxing with good food, and that is exactly what we got. Even better we were able to fly from Southampton Airport which was fantastic. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and shown straight to a top floor quiet room which again we had requested. Room was good size very clean and over looked the pool. The restaurant had plenty of tables, although some of them are very close together, and you choose where you want to sit and your waitress will fetch your drinks. Food was of a very good hotel standard and you would have to be very fussy not to like it. At breakfast they even catered for lactose intolerant people like myself in providing special milk, brilliant. Drinks at the bar were generally cheaper than in some of the pubs and restaurants downtown and the measures are very generous. However the bottled water at the hotel was really pricey so we used the supermarket literally outside the hotel enterance. Restaurants in town are fabulous. The service is great, places are clean and the food is great. We have had worse meals in places in this country. Reception staff are always on hand and very helpful. Hotel is spotless and very relaxing. Just a few things to make note of. The pool is very small and there is limited space with regard to sunbeds. Despite the hotel leaving notices telling guests not to reserve sunbeds with towels and then go off for the day, tis did happen everyday during our visit and is a problem. Come on management deal with it. Space between the sunbeds is non existant and you are virtually sitting on your neighbour!! That said, the beach is a 3 minute walk and you can hire sunbeds and a parasol for the day at 15 Euros. Entertainment is very low key at the hotel but downtown makes up for it. There is all sorts from pubs, bars and restaurant music. The Thomas Cook rep was virtually non existant as well apart from from dropping us off and the welcome meeting, but reception staff make up for this. All in all, would definately go back no hesitation. Ask for as top floor room with a pool view and enjoy!!!! Thanks again Karen Thomas Cook Hythe.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room overlooking the pool. Road side rooms may be noisy. We had 423, perfect.

We were at the hotel La Cala from 19th - 29th June 2013. We were really pleased with the hotel, the staff, and the food. It was our 35th anniversary while we were there and we had some lovely flowers and a bottle of cava in our room from management.
The room was brilliant , on 4th floor with a pool view. It was cleaned every day and the towels were changed at same time. The pool area was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. We were pleased to note that they adhere to the policy of removing towels from loungers if people are absent for hours on end. The check in was swift and included a drink although we had a late arrival. The food was brilliant and included beef wellington and tbone steak, both enjoyed by my husband. I would recomend to anyone. Its location is perfect for the town and the harbour and beach. We will be sure to go back there.

Room Tip: I think a pool view is a good idea as others are just facing street.

On arrival received a welcoming drink ,and checked in very quickly . On reaching our room found it to be spacious with plenty of hanging space and two small waters in the fridge and tea making facilities . Food in the restaurant OK but beef very chewy , entertainment at the night was very good but was not on every night . On the whole a very good holiday .

The hotel is well located in Santa Eularia, rooms are nice an clean, breakfast is excellant, but above all - very nice an helpful staff. I arrived with no luggage (Vueling's fault) and they did everything they could to help me, and showed a lot of empathy to my condition.

Just returned today from an 11 night stay at the La Cala - cannot fault the place at all. Swift check in with very welcome drink on arrival - room very clean and free Air Con was a bonus. Food in the Hotel was very good really - salads really fresh and lots of choice for main meal which changed everyday, good selections for dessert and for breakfast the fresh fruit was delicious. Clientelle are quite elderly and we are aged 49 and 51 .... but, on the plus side everyone was really friendly and chatted away to each other - Santa Eulalia is perfect for us, beautiful beaches, fantastic choice of restaurants, we ate out 5 times and loved Kathmandu for Indian, but also rated the chinese, Pepe de Rincon for Tapas and Can en Ribes where the set meal was fab ...... Mirage puts on live music everynight and Kevin the owner really looks after you and we enjoyed Marsol the best for lunch ...... 2 trips out and about on the little road train were also well worth doing - All in all a great holiday - Go you will have a good time xx

Room Tip: Definitely ask for a pool view - to be honest its not much of a view but massively better than a str...

Stayed here in June for a week. Hotel is centrally situated for all attractions in Santa Eulalia. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and pleasant. Rooms are spacious and again spotlessly clean. We were on the third floor with a view of the street opposite but encountered no noise from the road or the street and has sun on the balcony in the afternoon. /air conditioning in rooms is excellent! Food was plentiful. There was always a selection of hot meats/fish on offer each day. The tea and coffee making facilities were only filled up for day of arrival and not replenished another days. There is a fridge in the room so there is the option to buy milk from the nearby supermarket. The pool area was lovely but only get the sun on one side in the morning and the opposite side in the afternoon. Plenty of sunbed/parasols available. You can hire pool towels from the reception area if you do not want to bring your own. Overall, a nice, friendly hotel, close to all the amenities, buses to Ibiza Town/ /Cala LLonga..

Room Tip: We had no trouble with the room facing the street.

Me and my boyfriend visit this hotel 9th-19th had a lovely time in ibiza but stood out like a sore thumb in the hotel this we were the youngest people in the hotel, I know it's over 18 but more like over 80! Even when asking at reception where there was a few bars he said well the people who normally come to this hotel don't want noisy bars! The hotel was very clean, salad option of dinner was nice, beef was quite chewy but plenty of other options, although we tended to eat out quite a few nights, daffers was a nice restaurant offering 3 courses for 13.50 euros! We bought the Internet but we were on the 5 floor and the last room so it didn't work, hotel was very close to the harbour and only a short walk from the beach, bus station was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel which was ideal to go to ibiza town and San Antonio! Had a lovely time, in ibiza probably won't be returning to this hotel for at least 60 years :)
