I agree with the many visitors who rate this bar so highly. Excellent value; well-situated; tasty British fare without the need for big advertising hoardings and gimmicks to attract custom.
Even during a heatwave in July the staff found time to chat to customers, whether families or lone visitors, remaining friendly, efficient and attentive.
The welcome is genuine and they want to maintain and improve their award-winning status. It's not a pretentious bar - just friendly banter and they fit in well with the ambience of the resort.
It's a travesty if you don't try some of the atmospheric Spanish tapas bars and restaurants behind the harbour, but you can't beat a cuppa and a sausage buttie at Dona Ana's!
