If you enjoy off-the-beaten-path, authentic and eccentric, this one is for you. With no written menu, few choices, all typical Portuguese dishes, you better take what the larger-than-life proprietor ("are you here to eat or to read") recommends. The food is well-made, but hardly world class, and house wine was far too sweet for my taste. But do experience this quintessentially Portuguese village tavern once.
