This was not just a meal, it was an experience. The homely restaurant seated no more than about 30 people. It was a type of tapas restaurant but, at the same time, not a tapas restaurant.
The atmosphere was created by the old style/antique furniture and ornaments, the furniture that included benches for the 3 tables that seated 6 people, the plaques on the wall that were awards for gourmet food etc.
The food was delivered with a full description of what it was made from and the tastes included.
When you are served food with such differences in taste as monkfish in a sauce with macaroni, black pudding with chorrzo and a local sausage, local cheese, shellfish etc. Wow, what an experience.
All of this with wine or beer included plus dessert for a fixed price of 27.50 euro. You cannot ask for more.
The quality of the cooking, the simple but nice presentation, the friendly atmosphere full marks!
