We spent 11 nights here from he 16th June with two young children 2 and 4. As it was the first time abroad with the girls I was nervous. But I did need to worry at all. Some of the negatives on here we to our benefit to.
The rooms firstly are spacious and able to close off an area in the evening for the girls to sleep. A bathroom excellent with a full size bath and two shower heads over. The lower, perfect for little ones to stand under and on full power quick to run a bath. Cleaned daily and very polite cleaners.
The pool area, there is a smaller children's pool at one end which under the sun warms up nicely throughout the day. The main pool is cold, but I must say if you get yourself in its quite refreshing, just a struggle if you aim to walk in. There are plenty of sunbeds, parasols is a different story, but for 8 euros we purchased one and used it around the pool and took it to the beach.
My girls loved the train to the beach, it does get busy but the driver always made sure all got on. The beach is lovely and clean and we purchased an area with 2 beds, a side windbreak and a shade hammock over the top which sets you up the day. Also, there is a box full of buckets and spades and toys which the girls made full use of and did not have to purchase a thing.
The food. I agree with the comments of the noise in the dining room but it put my mind at ease with having young children and did not have to be on guard of them disturbing someone elses dinner. It did not matter if the children were children has this is what its set up for. Easily cleaned with each dropped crumb and spotless high chairs. There is a children's buffet area, and food that even got my picky 4 year old to eat. My husband loves fish and couldn't fault it any night. Also if the girls were not hungry at lunch or missed at snack times, there is crisps, bread, ham, cheese and some hot foods to get them by not forgetting the ice cream.
Entertainment, we never went to the evening entertainment we took evening walks into the square and the harbour. We bouncy castles 2 euros for 50minutes, other rides and my girls favourite a train with 2 carts that goes around in a circle for 1 euro. By which time, the girls were tired out. So again it was a bonus for us the all inclusive and entertainment finishes at 11 as you were assured silence. We were also in a room practically opposite the lift and close to the bar area and slept soundly each night.
The play area is fantastic for younger children with more than 8 different slides, it does get hot during the peak of the day but other than that cant fault it.
We did not take a buggy with us as we did not have any spare room in the car with luggage, but managed to get one from the Thomson reps as soon as we arrived.
Day trips, we went on the Fiesa evening trip, which is large sand sculptures in shape of music heros over the years. With a little children's section, again the girls loved seeing a huge noddy, hello kitty, mickey and Minnie and many more. You then go to a horse stables and school where both the girls we able to go horse riding in a little arena and sit back with a glass of champagne or orange juice and snacks.
Now if you love animals you must go to Zoomarina. Its brilliant with show after show of dolphins, seals, exotic birds, pirates, birds of prey. The park also has a large tank of other fish, some you can touch. There is rides and a lovely pool to cool off in to with changing facilities and lockers.
All in all a wonderful holiday for families. It is what it says it is a premier family hotel
